Allstate Insurance: Stephen McMullen

Horrible customer service!! I called in a few weeks ago asking for my usual agent only to find out she had been fired. I was shocked she is the sweetest girl who has always given us great customer service and I know she was getting ready to have heart surgery. I am appalled by the rude service I received and the unprofessional behavior of his new staff. Steve McMullen is never in the office to hear my complaints or to give me an explanation as to why he fired my agent. My policies are being mismanaged and I cannot get simple answers from his new staff. There is no one in that office that knows what they are doing! I wish I could give him 0 stars.

This is Joe S. again. I am changing my review of Stephen McMullen. This is one of the laziest men you will ever meet. He is never in the office and refuses to cancel the life insurance policy I have requested he cancel FIVE times. He has lost all his good staff members. I will not be doing business with this man, he is an embarrassment to Allstate!!

I have my life and home insurance with Steve. His staff does a great job explaining my coverage and looking for the best rate on my home. They always go above and beyond to assist me.

I have had absolutely horrible issues with this agency over the last year. They have repeatedly dropped the ball and I have lost thousands of dollars because of them! They told me that they took care of my flood insurance policy through Allstate at $872 and that I didn't need to do anything else. 5 months later, my mortgage payment goes up by a couple hundred dollars a month because they never took care of it and the mortgage company had to force place a policy at $2,300!!! Not only that, but they never cancelled one of my homeowners policies and I currently have two policies because they never cancelled that when they said they were going to! I will be getting a check for $1200 when they finally cancel it, but they have been unresponsive to my cancellation emails. I call, but still, nothing gets done! This agency seems nice on the phone, but they are completely irresponsible! Save yourself the headache and do not go with this agent! I would give them 0 stars if it were possible.
