Had extensive work done to my 06 CTS V and I'm very pleased with the work. I now live ten hours away and if I have anymore work done to it only they will do it. The staff was polite,professional and kept me in the loop on everything. If you want a quick fix or rush job done go to another shop because they are going to do the job right so you don't have to come back. Thanks S&S
I went to SS Customs to get an amp installed to control the mids/highs. I had an appointment at 800. Got there waited an hour in the lobby with my 2 year old after they took my truck to the back, then a man came out and told me the front personnel just told him my truck was waiting. Initially when I went up there to get the quote, I spoke with Paul and Robbie, aka long hair don't care boy. The price was $30 cheaper on the quote and the time it would take would only be an hour. I sat there with my son for 4 and half hours and not 1 single person came and spoke with me to update me on the progress or what the hold up was. At the 2 hour mark I asked what the hold up was and was informed "they were still working on it" --nothing more, nothing less. At the end, the guy who placed my amp walked me in the store, showed me a speaker I needed that would simply replace 2 factory blown speakers easily without any extra pieces or adapters. I left and thought about it and then came back to purchase the speakers and make the appointment to get ithem installed. Robbie starts talking about an adapter he needed for the speakers and how it would be at least 30 more minutes added to the 45 that it was initially going to take and I was looking at an extra $50 for something that wasn't even needed. Paul and Robbie started bickering back and forth about the fact I waited 4 and half hours this am, but Robbie didn't care and was still going to charge me the extra money seeing as it "still cost money". I couldn't believe the unprofessionalism and absolute carelessness this business conducted. I will post this on every site available for reviews to make sure people know what they are dealing with. There are no actual prices for any services. Robbie charges what he feels the customer will pay or what he feels like charging that day. Not sure which? He's very rude and disrespectful. Never again will I do business with them.
Had an issue with my rims and SS said they could fix them in 7-10 days. 4 months later and the rims looked worse than when I took them in. They also lost 20+ of the studs that were on them rims and never bothered to replace them. They don't provide feed back unless you call. Poor service form the beginning. Beware!
SS customs is the worst business i have ever delt with. they did everything wrong with my truck they could. also they caused my truck to over heat and then took a full day to even get it back to their shop. after they rest the check engine lights they told me they left air in the coolant system when they bled it and thats why it overheated. it still ran rough after and they couldnt fix it and "try" to find out whats wrong with it. i took it to the dealership and they had to reset the computer after it overheated and SS customs wouldnt reimburse me what the dealership charged me. i was without my truck 3 days longer than they quoted me to work would take. it was trashed out and missing a floor mat. there were lose bolts and a wire bracket dangling in the engine compartment dinging off the fan blades and a wield broke on the exhaust they put in. every bit of work they did for me has been crap and wrong and they even ended up breaking more things than they worked on.
i have alot of friends over there. So i really feel for them, as they have to make a living. With that said, I wouldn't let Service Sucks customs change an air refresher n my car!!!! Stop working on your own cars and fix the customers car and y'all would be alright~~~
it is the worst place imaginable, their work its absolutely terrible, and they have no idea what they are doing....then when everything is wrong and they take your car back to &quot;fix&quot; it, they give it back to you in the same condition they left it, which is terrible, then let you know your not getting your money back, thanks ss customs, i cant believe this is how you treat members of the military, you had my car for probably a total of 40 days and never gave me a single phone call to let me know what was going on. Im working on hopefully getting you blacklisted, once hurlburt blacklist, eglin will shortly follow, good luck with your &quot;business&quot; in a military town when you treat them and everyone else like you treated me, oh, and the blacklist of course.
I thought this would be a one stop custom shop judging from the massive trucks parked outside! Apparently, some other shop did the work for them! I found out that they have no clue what to do or how to order parts on anything with a custom lift. All it takes is a little common sense, some mechanical know how, and a computer. I imagine it would be a great place to go if you want some nice wheels and tires or even a stereo. Watch out though, they have huge price mark ups and can be beaten out by any internet automotive sales site.
