Game Traders is a store to were you can sell all of your games movies and other items. They will be friendly. And when you walk in most of the time they help you find what you need. They also sell contollers that are usually 65 dollars, for only 40 to 50 dollars. Or you can buy a wired controller for less. I've gone to this store since i was 4 years old, and they have never let me down.
I attempted to sell my XBOX360 system to Game Traders and was given the "run around" 3 times! The first time, I had forgotten to bring the A/V cables, so understandably they would not give me the full system price of $50...they'd only do $25 after they tested the console with their own cables. Of course, I decided to come back later with my own cables in order to get the better price. I returned another evening--this time with all the system components--and because they were closing in 20 minutes they refused to do business with me, saying that they needed 30 minutes to test the console. I pointed out that it had already been tested a day or so before, and I was just returning with my A/V cables to complete the transaction. It didn't matter to them--they insisted that it be tested yet again. By this point I was frustrated, but I told them is return the next day. When I returned the finall time--literally, as I will never do business there again--they now would not take it because something was rattling around on the inside of the XBOX casing! I have never heard anything like that before from my 360. What probably happened was during my multiple, redundant, and inecessary trips back and forth to the store with it, something was knocked loose inside. Now they will not accept it, even after it tested out fine a few days before. This type of behavior from a business is totally unacceptable and unprofessional, so I can safely say that they have lost my business for life. I encourage you all to do the same!
My son traded in a PS1 and used the in-store to buy a Nintendo 64, a couple of accessories, and a game.. Turns out it was infested with roaches.. The bad thing is they didn't make their appearance until after a night of the console sitting in my son's room. So on top of spending the day spraying the entire house, all Game X Change can do is either replace it with a different console (which is likely to include roaches free of charge) or refund his money... On top of that, I'm scared to let him even get his PS1 back because now there is a chance that it is a Roach Motel now also... Stick to games, there is no chance of it being infested, but steer clear of any use electronics (consoles, DVD players, whatever else theysell used like that) would be zero stars if possible.. That's just nasty to do business in a place like that...
