The employees seem to know nothing about courtesy and pleasant customer service. Amazing that I did not hear even one single “Thank you”, or “Please”, or “Welcome to The UPS Store”, or “How may I help you?” the whole 40 minutes I was there, whether addressing me or any other customer. One kid just walks up to people who walk in and says “What do you need?”, then proceeds to show absolutely zero common courtesy to customers, instead of “how may I help you?”. I saw 6 people get finished and walk out and not one employee said “Thank you”, or even come again, much less “we appreciate your business. One customer said “Thank you” and the employee just said “not a problem”! When it should be the employees thanking customers. They do not smile and have zero customer courtesy. The older gentlemen who appears to be the manager came out and did exactly the same thing. No wonder the employees are like that. I decided to test what would happen when I finished so I did not give my normal “thank you” and, sure enough, no one said “thank you”, come back to see us or anything. Something is wrong with there.
Friendly, efficient, polite, and affordable! They packed an entire set of China without us having to lift a finger. They even carried everything in from our car for us. Cannot recommend them enough.
After working at this center for 7 days temp I learned a lot. They do not care about the customer. As long as it was delivered somewhere that's all they care about. The customer can call about it being delivered somewhere else, but the people working at the center won't do anything to help you recover it. It could have been delivered a block away, but it was delivered; no longer their problem. During Christmas the regular drivers have Helpers for their route. So if you are used to your regular driver getting to you at a certain time, don't expect it any time before 7pm during the Christmas season. If you have the option to ship thru a different carrier then I would do it. Shipping UPS is definitely not worth it.
Terrible customer service. Leaves you in hold on phone and never picks up. Acts like they could care less whether or not you even are a customer. I guess thats what you get when you hire young people that are only there for a paycheck and don't care about their customers. I had more faith inbups than this will never go there again. The usps us better and thats really saying something in my book.
