Reviews
The staff, from the receptionist to the hygienist, at Parklane Family Dental were good. My issue is with Dr. Mike. During the first procedure I received from him, he punctured my tongue nerve while giving a regular numbing shot. His comment when it happened was, "Well, at least now I know where I am in there." Totally not an appropriate comment to make! When the feeling had not returned after a week, it took me three days of calling to get a phone call back from him concerning the issue - during which time I managed to bite clear through my tongue several times. Five months later, I still have not gotten all the feeling back in my tongue. It has not been a pleasant experience.
When I went back in to have the crown put on, Dr. Mike was extremely abrasive with me and not gentle at all, cutting my gums up really bad. I also noted him being very close to my face. He commented that he had to get within 10 inches of my face to be able to see what he was doing. I'm pretty sure that's also not a comment he should make in front of his patient.
There have been several people at my church who have asked me about my issues at Parklane Family Dental and have told me things that have happened to them. I would strongly NOT recommend this dental office.
Dr. Mike and his entire team make me feel at home every time I walk through the door. They're very tuned into their patients and make sure you're never in pain. Highly recommended!
