Insensitivity to allergies, poor customer service, defensive and argumentative staff, shame because the food was really good.
Once again dine in is awesome call in was always great till the past two and they could not get the order right. Always placed to go orders with a lady who ran the front check out and the order was always awesome. The past few time have been with a waiter and it has been wrong every time. Owners need to step up and learn that your host or cashier is just as if not more important than your servers. After all call ins are cheaper than dine ins so you might want to keep the good ones. But sorry to say they have lost my business.
The Townson location is hands down the best one. Service is always great on dine in or carry out. Great food and great service, just cant go wrong.
Real Mexican food.....Breakfast burritos are wonderful, all the salsas and sauces are perfect. Tried our first fish tacos there and first one was wonderful, talapia. Next try not as good, asked and it was another kind of fish, maybe catfish? Tacos to go are a staple for us. Chips are homemade and salsa same.
I'm not certain what has happened to this La Huerta location, but my family was treated so disrespectfully by the staff tonight. We merely walked in and asked for seating for 16 people. We were waiting for assistance and the next thing we knew 3 members of the management approached us and aasked what we were doing. We explained that we had a party coming for dinner and we were waiting to be seated. The apparent owner began smirking and laughing and said "you can't just walk in here and be seated"...we were all dumbfounded and again explained that we had asked to be seated and were waiting for direction. He again said you can't just walk in here...the college age members with us asked if we could just leave since the staff were rude. We will NEVER eat at this restaurant again and we will tell everyone we know about our terrible experience. We left there and went to El Zarape and were treated with utmost respect and kindness. The food is 100 times better than LA Huerta and the staff treat you like valued customers. We have never been treated as rudely as we were tonight and I assure you it will never happen again as we will NEVER subject ourselves to La Huerta's poor business practices again.
Best authentic Mexican food in the area!
The new Patron Mexican restaurant location on Rogers Avenue...yuck!!! My friend & I went there on our lunch hour & OMG the worst Mexican food we've ever had TERRIBLE!!! I had the Speedy Gonzalez & my friend had the Kid's Quesadilla plate. The service/food was not speedy at all. There were other customers who came in after us got there food before us & the wait staff seemed so busy with everyone's table & only came to ours to take our order & then to deliver it. The food was awful the chicken had a strange twang to it so different I can't even describe it, the beans were bland & real thin and the taco OMG what the hell kind of meat was that I was literally turning green wanting to puke it up because it taste so bad neither of us were sure that it was actually real meat it was just so nasty. I'm sure the owners are good people but man they have lost our business & if any goes there you have been warned!!!
We have tried nearly all the others and Patro's, while somewhat pricey, is well worth the extra.
Mexerito (taco salad) and chile relleno are amazing!
