Chubbies

Ate there yesterday. Talk about amazing food. At first they don't sound like much but the taste...omg... did I say the taste was OMG? It was so wonderful.

I had the surf and turf special and it was to die for. Lobster tail, shrimp and steak tips, with small red potatoes, green beans, and salad. The shrimp was on a skewer and was absolutely perfect. The lobster tail was very good too. But the steak tips... oh wow... so tender and juicy. I would definitely eat there again and would recommend the place to family and friends, even people I don't know who are looking for somewhere to eat.

And by the way, I also had a beer with that. Note: I'm not a beer drinker. Don't like almost all brands. But they had an apple pie beer that was totally shocking. You know how most fruit beers are... they have a slight hint of taste that you may or may not pick up on... well not this one. As soon as that liquid touches any part of your mouth, you can taste exactly the apple pie. It is fabulous and definitely a must try to anyone in the area.

Service was also very good. I removed one star because my husband had to request three times to have one of the tv sets in front of us changed to something other than Fox. Other than that, quite a memorable dining experience and a fabulous non-fancy place to bring our out of town guest.
