BEWARE IF YOU ARE A WOMAN TRAVELING ALONE AND HAVE TO DEAL WITH KEVIN SMITH, THE BRANCH MANAGER AT THIS OFFICE. You will run the risk of being harassed , threatened, and bullied. I have submitted several complaints, nothing has been done, he has not been held accountable. I have never seen anything like his behavior, ever. BEWARE

I rent often from Alamo for the service and conveniences. Have never been dissatisfied. Quick and easy, with reasonable prices. (Sometimes pretty good discounts) GO ALAMO
VERY UNPLESANT EXPERIENCE, ARRIVED LATE SEPT.30, THE ATTENDANT ASKED WHAT KIND OF CAR I SAID TIRED AND WANTING TO GET TO MY DESTINATION SUV, HE THAN BROUGHT THE CAR TO US SINCE THERE NONE AVAILABLE. TIRED AND WANTING TO GET TO MY DESTINATION I DIDN'T DO A WALK AROUND THE CAR. UPON ARRIVING MY WIFE NOTICED A SMALL DENT IN THE REAR BUMPER I SAID THEY MUST KNOW ITS THERE OR WOULDN'T RENT THE CAR, BOY WAS I WRONG. WHEN I RETURNED THE CAR I FELT LIKE A CRIMINAL BEING ACCUSED OF PUTTING THE DENT IN THE BUMPER TRIED TO EXEEPLAIN THE DENT WAS THERE SAID I SHOULD HAVE CALLED I SAID YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE RENTED THE CAR I GUESS THEY ARE LOOKING FOR A FALL GUY I HAVE RENTED FROM ALAMO FOR YEARS NEVER A ISSUE TILL NOW THEY SHOULD TRAIN THERE AGENTS IN CUSTOMER RELATIONS ALITTLE BETTER
This was our first time using Alamo at Southwest Regional Airport in Ft Myers, FL. We are Alamo Insiders and used the online check-in and skipped the counter and went right out to garage and selected our car. We had a standard car, and the car was fine, with some minimal damage/scuffs on the outside. I specifically filled out all my info online, expecting to be out the the garage a bit quicker...but was asked the same questions from the attendant that I filled out online. All in all, a good experience and we will use Alamo again. They are a good service with reasonable prices!!
I have used Alamo numerous times at the Southwest Reguonal Airport and have always had a great experience, have never waited more than 5 minutes to check in and I like the fact that you can choose any car in their inventory in your specific rental category. Convenient location, directly across the street from the airport and they open super early if you have to return the car for an early flight. Just make sure you fill the gas tank and don't leave the car super sandy from the beach and you will have an easy check in and check out!
Very friendly and helpful rental agents. They always acknowledge customers waiting and process the rental quickly and efficiently. It is a little difficult to discern how Enterprise establishes their rates? But this is not the responsibility of the agents on site.
2 minutes after I left the airport and was on I-75, the front tire blew out. I was stranded on the freeway, and the Budget people were rude and uncaring! I had to call AAA and then find alternate transportation to Port Charlotte. BOOOO Budget!
Enterprise has always been a great place for us, but this particular location is horrendous. Before our insurance agency told us about it, because it was close to our service provider for fixing our car, we never heard of them. The location is in a rough part of town, the first car we were given was supposed to be a "luxury rental" that was incredibly filthy inside and out. We were shocked it could even be used as a rental. Then we were changed to an SUV class for the same price, and they were very rude and unthorough regarding the checking of the vehicle.If the company has less than 20 incredible reviews that are written within the same time frame, I guarantee you, the reviews are submitted by employees. Just a heads up
