This is a roach infested apartment complex. They say everyone pays pest control, but no receipts from company. Horrible maintenance and horrible management.
I was a tenant with Rental Link for an annual lease and I wish I would have never been. Anytime there was an issue with our property, they made it seem like it was an inconvenience for them to have it fixed. They were never on time, and took forever to get anything done. It was a process just to get in contact with them. They took more days out of the office than anyone I have ever known. They are unprofessional, I do not recommend them to anyone. STAY AWAY!
ummmmmm that sounds kind of prejudiced...What ever happened to "loving thy neighbor"?
I was a tenant with Rental Link for more than a year. During the tenancy the service provided by Rental Link was just average, they did not show much interest in helping with the various issues that periodically arise in a house but at least after insisting for a while those issues were eventually resolved. The worst came when I ended the tenancy due to job relocation. The day I returned the keys a letting agent performed a walk-through the apartment and concluded that everything was in perfect condition and that my security deposit would be returned to me in full. However then I moved to another city and I never heard back from Rental Link again. They did not reply any of my requests in which I ask them to return the deposit. They just decided to STEAL it, probably thinking that since I was moving far away I would just walk away and forget about the deposit. Note that this is not a private landlord with economic difficulties that simply has not the money to return the deposit, this is a company that having the money makes the decision to keep the deposit, this is a very serious issue. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, you have been warned.
DO NOT RENT IN SALAMANCA POINTE APARTMENTS (Fort Myers) Reasons:-VERY BAD FLOODING: (will ruin your car, reach your muffler if you have a lower car, you can't take your dogs out, water level reaches half way up your calves, and you have to put sandbags in front of your door to prevent it from getting inside)-UNFAIR RENT: everyone pays different rent prices for some reason (your next door neighbor that moved in three months after you will be paying $150 less then you and their unit is upgraded)-POOR HEAD MANAGEMENT- they don't work with you at all when you have issues and lie about following the "fair housing laws"-MOLD IN AIRCONDITIONING: (they will not do anything about it ) -UNSAFE ATTICS: (against fire code, no insolation, YOU CAN ACCESS YOUR NEIGHBORS APARTMENT FROM THE ATTIC!)-VERY HIGH ELECTRIC BILLS- due to old air conditioning units -TOWNHOMES=EXTREMELY HOT (even if you put your air down to 70)-DRUG DEALERS EVERYWHERE -RENT INCREASE: rent will increase anywhere from $70-$100 dollars every time you sign a new lease -FRONT DESK STAFF IS HORRIBLE: besides Marjorie, they have no care in the world for the people living in the complex. - NO FIREPITS OR GRILLS ALLOWED: they will throw you belongings in the dumpster if you have them out-TRASH LAYING EVERYWHERE: The dumpster is constantly being over filled and stuff is left sitting out in the middle of the road.-VERY CREAKY FLOORS & STAIRS: 1970 apartment complex, upstairs creaks constantly -MAINTENANCE SUCKS: The maintenance team takes forever to fix anythingBE AWARE DO NOT MOVE HERE: YOU WILL REGRET IT* Proof: I have been a resident here for two years *
Don't move in until Sabal Palms and Palmetto Court has been rebuilt. All of the families from these projects have moved in there!
