I can't say enough great things about Tom and Chris!!! While on our Summer Trip 2017, we noticed that our Main RV air conditioning unit was just barely cooling our living area. Knowing that we were heading West and into sparsely populated areas, we decided to have it checked. Luckily, we were told by the Campground Folks that Tom was in Minneapolis, and they had heard good things about him from other campers!!! He worked us into his already full schedule, and immediately realized that our AC was dead!! He called Dometic for us and arranged to have a new one shipped. We realized that it was going to take several days to arrive, so we opted to purchase a new one ourselves, and Tom agreed to install it the next morning on our way out of town!!! WOW!!! What a lifesaver!! It is keeping us nice and cold, as we continue our trip!!! Tom has even agreed to return the one Dometic is shipping!!! What a guy!!! I highly recommend both Tom and Chris if you have any RV problems in Minneapolis during the Summer or in the Naples, FL area during the Winter!! "Wonderful" is the word that best describes my experience with Tom and Tom's Mobile RV Service.While unwinterizing our Coachmen Freedom Express Toyhauler, we discovered a leaking hot water bypass valve. Since all the RV repair centers we contacted were booked out for weeks, we made the attempt to replace the valve ourselves. Unfortunately, we also discovered special tools were going to be needed to work with the piping. We needed an "RV doctor".I recalled having received a business card for Tom's Mobil RV Service years ago. I did a google search and was thrilled to find the service still available. I placed the call and left a message explaining I needed plumbing service.My call was returned shortly and to my excitement, Tom was able to come to my rig in just a day after requesting his help. Also to my surprise, his rates were competitive and reasonable. (I had thought a mobile service would be much more expensive than taking the rig to a service center) Tom came out with his well organized service truck and quickly assessed the problem. He had an apprentice in training with him and without hindering his work flow, was explaining what was needed, what he was doing and why, as well as how to do it. He was not only knowledgeable, he was also efficient. He had all the parts and tools needed and quickly had the plumbing issue fixed with parts equivalent or better than what was originally in place. When finished with the repair, Tom made sure all was in working order. In less than an hour my plumbing had been repaired beautifully. Made appointment to be at my park site, arrived on time. Polite, went right to work to diagnose the problem(s); auto-level system would not work, 2 slides not functioning. Reviewed their findings with me, obtained permission to next-day ship parts. They called my extended warranty company, handled all issues, advised me what was covered and what was not. Returned 2-days later by appointment, installed parts, warranted parts 1-yr, labor 90-days. Left my motor coach clean, and Dean (the tech) was friendly and businesslike. Pricing was more than fair. I wish I had these guys where I live, I'd use them over my dealership in a heart-beat. Why can't all service areas be like these guys?
They fixed my Splendide washer in 2012. They came out the next day, and repaired it in 2 hours.I will use them again.They are very busy, and I am in Naples FL
