This has been the worst furniture buying experience we have ever had. We went to the store and purchased an entertainment center and a cocktail table. When the items came, every single piece except one was significantly damaged. When we called customer service they tried to get us to keep the damaged items. Finally, they said they would send us new furniture, but the two piers were backordered so those would arrive at a later date.

When the TV stand and cocktail table came, they still had damage! The next week, the piers are delivered, and both have significant damage! After another long conversation with customer care phone, where they offered us everything in the book just to keep the damaged items, they finally agreed to send us new piers and bridge with premium shipping, meaning already assembled upon delivery.

Sunday came, and the delivery men bring JUST THE BRIDGE, IN THE BOX. Apparently, we were lied to about the premium shipping and delivery of all pieces. Customer care argued with us for over an hour saying they had no note of premium delivery, AND the piers are on backorder until THE END OF MAY. Keep in mind, we ordered this the first week of April! They will not send anything sooner, so that means they will not take these huge boxes with defective furniture out of our house until the exchange can be made – at the end of May! They also will not issue any sort of refund, since obviously we do not want to wait that long and we do not want this furniture anymore. This is beyond ridiculous. It is unprofessional and embarrassing for a company like this to treat customers this way. We have even tried going into the store and talking with the manager, but he says there is nothing he can do. The store says they can’t do anything and corporate has to handle it. Corporate says it’s a franchise so they can’t do anything and the store has to handle it. So you can pretty much guess, NOBODY is handling it. Save yourself the frustration and go ANYWHERE else.

We just bought a second home in Florida and needed some mattresses. We had a specific date we needed delivery and needed to handle our transaction over the phone. I normally dread trying to work a deal this way. Amanda made this experience a pleasure. She was able to give us good pricing and arrange delivery. She was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I highly recommend Amanda and this store.

I would never buy from Ashley again! I purchased a mattress, box springs, bed frame, and mattress cover. The only item that was not damaged was the mattress cover! Called to inform them and was told I would have to file a claim online. I filed the claim and received an email saying someone would get back with me in 24 hours. No one did, so I called my sales person who said it really takes 48 hours. So I waited an additional day as instructed. I still did not receive a call from customer service. I called the store back today and was transferred to customer service by my sales person who said "we have to follow the process". Customer service told me they never got the claim despite the confirmation email. I sent the claim information via email while they were on the phone. I was then told the mattress was not in stock and I would have to wait 10 days for another delivery. I asked for some sort of discount for the inconvenience of having to waste another day waiting for replacements of items that should have never been delivered. They offered me $30. This does not seem to cover the 8+ hours that will be required for the delivery window. I called my sales person back to see if he could do anything. At that point he told me NO ONE INSPECTS the items UNLESS YOU GET PREMIUM DELIVERY. This was the first I heard of this and also seems to contradict the initials on the mattress and box spring tags. He was rude and ended up hanging up on me because I told him that it seemed as if he got his sale and now didn't care (and was unwilling to help).

Great experience and knowledgable staff! I had an idea in my head when I walked in as to what I wanted my living room to look like, explained it to the sales representative and they came up with some great suggestions. From beginning to end, everything was stress free!

Run away! Don't lose your money at this store! Their furniture is cheaply made, overpriced, and they lie about whatever they need to in order to take your money. I wish I had listed to what other people said about this store. Have a disagreement with them? Don't both going to either the store manager or the corporate offices......nobody cares as long as they already have your money. My next step is to call consumer reporters at the local news channels. Whatever you do -- do NOT do business with this store! You WILL be sorry!

DO NOT do business with this company!! They are liars and thieves. They'll take your money and not stand behind their product at all. There is an investigation into this company going on. Stay away!!! You're better off taking someone's tossed out sofa on the roadside than spending any money on this horrible furniture!
