I went into this location 1/28/2015 looking for a dress for my special day. I am 4 months pregnant so I did not have many choices to begin with because of the fit issue , which I was aware of. However, I expected some kind of customer service and a kind person to perhaps work with me and select some options that might work. Nevertheless, what I got was this rude lady that made me feel like the worse person alive because I was shopping for a dress while pregnant. She welcomed me with rude comments and made it impossible for me to look at the product in the store, she sized me up with a rude look and discouraged every dress I looked at without taking the time to let me try any one therm. Finally she agreed to let me try two of the dresses and found out that they did fit after all her rude comments. I did not like the style however and she was not cooperative in helping me find similar fits in different styles. I then found a fabric that was really stretchy and I thought to myself this fabric is great, when I inquired about it, she scoffed at me and rudely said "3-4 that's not going to fit you" I obviously knew that it wouldn't however, I was referring to to the fabric, that was the last strand for me. I told her to forget it, that she was rude and lacked customer service and that I did not appreciate her discriminating against me on the account of my pregnancy, she then waved me out of the store while walking away to the back. I was completely flabbergasted at this person way to treat a fellow female in her special time of pregnancy. Needless to say I will never set foot in that store as I was nearly in tears when I left. I would not recommend this place to anyone that is pregnant or plus sized as this woman is clearly discriminating against large sizes. There was a man in the front of the store too, sitting on a chair by the door and he was just as rude , laughing at me as this woman waved me out of the store, I am livid recounting this in order to type it. I hope that this helps you make a decision and you think twice before going into the Dress Factory on Flower St
My grandmother, 2 sisters, my daughter and I went in to pick up a crib they were holding for us in the back, it took them 20 minutes after my grandmother and I both asked for assistance in the baby depot section. After telling us they were pulling it to the front we waited another 25 minutes, and suffering from the heat ( due to no air conditioning ) I loaded both babies up and continued to wait for another 10-15 minutes for it to be pulled out to my vehicle. However, one gentleman did come out with it on a flat bed and struggled to lift it in my van. All together I must say that the employee who helped happened to be the only nice and very well presented and customer friendly employee on staff. The store could use some rearranging as I noticed things on the floor and a lack of customer satisfaction.
