Perhaps he gets by on his confidence alone, but I don't like it when someone tries to sell you a broken part as if it were a good one. Needing a part to build an engine for mockup we asked how much he wanted for the cracked Harley side case. Mind you, it's basically scrap metal now since the crack is completely through it (unless you JB weld it I guess). He wants $75 for it. That's about what I would pay for a good part off eBay. We were just trying to be neighborly and toss him some business, but not if he's gonna rip us off. He is also not a very pleasant guy. In general, I didn't like the place, his attitude or the shop as a whole.

Total RIP OFF!!! Do not take your bike to this place. I took my bike in to have some simple parts added after calling to see if they could do the work. I was quoted approx. $250.00 for the labor and I already purchased all the parts. Took it in on a Sat. and was told shouldn't be more than a week. One week turned into 3 weeks turned into 4 weeks. One excuse after another. After a month I said I was coming to get it no matter what and that I would pay for what had been done and I will take it to another shop. Got there to pick it up and well...some of the parts that I had already purchased and brought to them were damaged by them while they were installing them. So what do they do...they charge me full retail for the parts again to replace the parts that they damaged. They told me it was my fault somehow (yes the owner blamed it on me) and that was that. They have my bike and I just want it back so I say whatever and end up paying three times the quoted amount for this "work" and 3 of the 4 things they "worked" on after a month were done wrong. So in summary, I waited a month and paid them close to $700.00 to ruin some of my parts, bill me for them again and put almost all of them on wrong. I will need to take this to another shop to fix their work. Do yourself a favor and skip this nightmare of a business. I have never written a review about a business in my life, I just feel so taken advantage of I needed to speak out.
Frank is a total con man a
I can verify that there is definetly atleast one tool at Victori Cycle Werkes and this little fellas name is Frank. After a total of ten minutes of having this angry old man with a chip on his shoulder try to belittle me with his superior knowledge of motorcycles, I wisely left. He litterally asked me if I had gotten my bike from a junk yard, because that is what it looks like. Is that normal? He then tried to tell me that a leaky countershaft seal was really the chain had come off at some point and cracked the case. Anyone with a brain could see that he was fishing for an overhaul due to a minor surface scratch. Do yourself a favor and keep driving past his motorcycle cemetary. All of the high star ratings are Franks work. Obviously these peope have never done business with this angry old man.
Again, I wish I could give this business 0 stars.Update to the issue this business created for me. My bike was taken from Victori and given to another shop, 5 weeks later, I have my bike back, this cost me another 650$. So I want to personally thank Frank Ferland of Victori Cycle Werks for having me dish out a total of.......................... ready for this............................. 1750$ to repair a head gasket. Granted, Victori and Frank never finished the work I had to take it somewhere else so I can learn about:1. he never ordered all the head gaskets. the Intake gaskets needed to be ordered. Thanks Frank!!2. I did not get all my parts back from this SOB, POS motorcycle shop.. I had to have the new shop fabricate me a set of Hanger Plates (engine mounts) Thanks Frank!!3. my battery was not in my motorcycle. This had to be ordered, so thanks Frank!!I have not communicated with Victori or Frank since I got my bike back in April. I have since learned that the same shop that I dropped my bike off has received another motorcycle that was taken to Frank and his shop with sputtering issues - after 300$ was spent on getting it "Fixed" at Victori Cycle Werks, it still sputtered, it still was not functioning right. It never ends .................. it never ends. Someone needs to file an official complaint with the Town of Fort Mill and York county on this business.
I would never tell my worst enemy about this place. I wouldnt even send a criminal in here on a referral. Bike was in his shop for 8 months, From Sept 2011 to April 2012. I came in there originally for a tire change and head gasket replaced and it turned into a 8 month nightmare of lies and deceit from the owner Frank Ferland. So much lying and decietfulness that when it was time to tell me that they spent my 1,000.00 on shop needs (bills or other customers) and that they didnt have the money to buy my parts until they finished some work on other bikes - the mechanic had to tell me, not the owner. Shameful. Also, when it came to actuall ordering my parts I had to take a few shots to the ego from the owner Frank Ferland. ~ Being called a crybaby because I wanted to work on my parts as he and I agreed to allow me to do since he couldnt order the replacement parts, "Sure you can clean the residue off of them and prep them for rebuild" ~ being called stupid as a tactic to save himself from utter embarrassment and me finding out that he hadnt even ordered the parts yet - when I asked for the number to the dealer he finally ordered my parts from. He didnt like me asking for that to check up and find out that he was still lying to me about ordering the parts.~ being chased out of his shop with verbal assualt after verbal assualt and being followed to my vehicle in his parking lot so that I could stand outside in public and take more harrasment and verbal assualt, oh and to learn about his BOOOOHOOOOO problems, lack of family communication, his wrongful prison sentence and why he is a terrible communicator and businessman.Normally I dont ever complain about a business, I would gladly eat a fish sandwich if I ordered a cheeseburger or do any wrong to others and I live my life by the motto of "Do the right thing for all the right reasons" I have met my opposite of my life's morals and principles - His name is Frank Ferland and he owns Victori Cycle Werks. This is just the snippets of an 8 month long horror story of an experience. I will never place foot back in this shop and every chance I get I will tell my story to other motorcyclists. Not for seeking retribution or revenge on the shop or the owner but to share my experience in hopes to help others avoid the seemingless repetative habits of this shop - stemming all the back to 2008 to the PRESENT
