        Dr. Alison Birken received her degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida. Following her graduation, she served an internship at the nationally renowned Florida Veterinary Specialists in Tampa, Florida, where she gained extensive experience in the emergency, routine and preventative treatment of a wide variety of small animals. Upon completion of her internship, she spent 3 years working in a well established general practice in Hollywood, Florida. Her expertise includes all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery. Dr. Birken actively participates in continuing education seminars several times per year. She is a member is good standing of The American Veterinary Medical Association and The Florida Veterinary Medical Association. "My passion for the care and wellbeing of animals began when I was a child. For as long as I can remember I knew I wanted to be a veterinarian. Throughout my entire career, I have always strived to take care of every pet as if it were my own. I can think of no better way to spend my day than bringing joy to animal lovers by returning their pets to good health," said Dr. Birken.

        Dr. Birken and the staff at Victoria park Animal Hospital are wonderful. They really care abut their pet patients. If you have a Broward County SPOT Voucher, you could not choose a better place to take your pet.

        MY NEW VET!

        I JUST MOVED TO TOWN AND KNEW I NEEDED TO FIND A LOCAL VET FOR MY DOG.

        I WAS THRILLED TO FIND A PRINTED CARD ON MY DOOR ANNOUNCING THE

        GRAND OPENING OF VICTORIA PARK ANIMAL HOSPITAL! AND IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD, TOO. I CAN NOW WALK MY DOG OVER FOR HER VISITS. THE HOSPITAL IS CHEERY,

        WARM AND INVITING AND THE STAFF WAS WELCOMING!! THEY EVEN HAVE COFFEE AND SNACKS IN THE LOBBY WHILE YOU WAIT. DR. ALISON BIRKEN WAS SUPER WITH MY "BABY", ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS WITH ENTHUSIASM WHILE SHE PLAYED WITH MY DOG ON THE FLOOR. MY BRANDI LOVED HER AND ALSO THE DOCTOR'S TECHNICIAN. HE WAS GREAT WITH HER! THIS WAS AN OVERALL GREAT EXPERIENCE AT THE VET HOSPTIAL. I LOOK FORWARD TO A LONG RELATIONSHIP WITH DR. BIRKEN AND VICTORIA PARK ANIMAL HOSPITAL.

        WELCOME TO TOWN VPAH!

        i was very excited to see a new veterinary clinic coming to the victoria park, fort lauderdale area. i was even more excited after my first experience bringing my dog, rymo, to dr. birken at victoria park animal hospital! dr. birken and her staff clearly have a love for animals and rymo took to them immediately. they were playful but professional and made both me and rymo confortable during our appointment. we also got a tour of the entire hospital. i was truly impressed with the state of the art facility. they even showed rymo's xrays to us on the computer in the exam rooms and we were able to check out and make payment without having to leave the exam room and wait at the front desk. this was by far our best experience at a vets office and we highly recommend dr. birken and victoria park animal hospital as your veterinarian.

        GREAT SERVICE AND FRIENDLY STAFF

        I RECENTLY TOOK MY DOG FOR A VISIT, AS SOON AS YOU WALK IN THE DOOR YOU FEEL SO WELCOMED . THE STAFF IS SO FREINDLY, THE TECHNICIAN GOT DOWN ON THE FLOOR WITH DIXIE AND GREATED HER. DR. BIRKEN CAME IN AND ALSO GOT ON THE FLOOR TO WELCOME DIXIE..I LOVED IT. THEY TOOK SUCH GOOD CARE OF HER. THEY ALSO GAVE ME A TOUR OF THE HOSPITAL WHICH WAS VERY CLEAN AND ORGANIZED WITH STATE OF THE ART EQUIPMENT.



        THEY WILL BE MY PETS DOCTOR FROM NOW ON. I RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY!!
