I was skeptic about going to this place but I tried since my girlfriend was so happy with her sunglasses, I was looking for something unusual and unique, the place is small but pleasant and the owner optician was marvelous, very professional, courteous and funny, I was surprised the eyeglasses were ready with in a week and the price was unbelievable inexpensive, I always spend close to a thousand in my glasses, at his prices I bought 3 pairs. I don't know what the other people is talking about. For what I understand, he used to fill up the prescriptions for the VA and he gets blame for the negligence of the VA system. I highly recommend this place, you will be pleasantly surprised.

I cringed when told by my Ophthalmologist that I needed to wait for a call from MED to go and choose my frames and get measured for my lenses. I have had nothing but problems with them since I have been needing glasses. How can a vet get a break?

Rude Management

Was sent by the VA to this establishment to have my eyes checked and to get new glasses if needed. After having my eyes checked I had to wait to select frames etc. Another individual was talking to a staff member and stated he had been there now 3 times and the glasses were still not right. Then the manager came into the office and began talking to the man and his attitude was very rude and totally unprofessional. The man stated you can keep the glasses, if you can’t get them right I don’t want them and left. The manager called me to the fitting table and made a few impolite comments about the previous man. Then he measured my eye for the new bifocal glasses. Several days later IU was called and told the glasses were in. I went up to pick them up and upon fitting them the bifocal line was way too high, I could not see properly. The young lady serving me stated that this is way off, and the boss must have made a mistake. I was re-measured and told the new glasses would be in within a week. 2 days later I got a call from the manager who stated very rudely that I told that this is where the mark on the lenses should be. I told him that this was totally incorrect; I was never asked anything about where the bifocal line should be. He was then even ruder and stated fine, I'll get them redone, and we will call you in a week. I never got a call and after 3 weeks I called to find out they have been there for some time but no one felt that they should notify me. Not a good place to get glasses, poor and rude service.
