Children's Home Society of Florida is a private nonprofit organization founded in 1902 to provide care for orphans. Its staff of more than 2,300 individuals offers services to over 130,000 children and adults. The organization s pregnancy counseling services include various types of adoption, grief and separation issues and legal procedures. Its family-centered care services include parenting skills training, problem solving, infant care, child development information and child health monitoring. The organization provides guidance and information to mothers in family planning, healthy eating, substance abuse counseling, immunization, child safety, parenting and childbirth education. It also offers adoption and search and reunion services.
