I dont know why they called this place Cafe. This place is not appealing to your vision; it is located on a plaza and if you don't know the place I believe you will skip it if you drove by. But wait--just go and park your car and Enter! This place I love--3 large rooms--full bar--well dressed tables and the Smell when you walk in is ITALIA! This place was recommended by a friend of mine and because she did not have style I assumed that the place was just another chaby place to eat. Well, after eating all over Fort Lauderdale decide to go. My image for my friend changed instantly when I walked in. Friendly, and I mean Friendly staff. Great seating area. Great wine list. Great friendly enviroment with a lot of Lot of Style! The food is to die for--I order different dishes when I go theres--just for kicks and never been disappointed on any of them!!! I don't know anybody there, except for the people that welcome me with a friendly smile and call me by my name--but Im sure it is because they have looked at the reservation book! They make you feel special and it is A Mama Mias Type of Home Old Italia Restaurant. Dont miss the pictures on the wall--from Frank Sinatra to Madonna--and guess what I will send in my Ms. Fort Lauderdale Picture and me too will make history on this side of town. Go There and post your comments and tell me if I was right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Sabrina Ms Fort Lauderdale US

The first time I went to Casa d'Angelo I did not get to eat. My reservation got mixed up with someone elses and the wait after that was over an hour. No apologies, no care. I tried to give the host some flow to let me go by, but Luigi and Vicenzo were before me (I made up those names) therefore, I did not win the battle. Upset went to a near by restaurant. After that, and all the reviews I seen. I decide it to give it another try and not so crowded what a fantastic time I had. Maybe I was in a better mood, that night because everything appeal to me. Even the waiters looked great! The atmosphere was uplifting, the smell of Italian food (home made pasta sauce, garlic, tomatoes, oregano, basil) and fresh bread cautivated my sense of palate. I do reccomend this place for a family affair or friends. Not so much for a date or a romantic dinner. The placed is hecked it at all times, busy waiter, loud italian conversation---but if you are loud too--You will fit In. Make sure that you confirmed your reservation twice. After all I do love this place and always be one of my Favorite Restaurant in town. Ciao Ms.Fort Lauderdale US Sabrina Thornton
where should i start... this is the best italian i have had a little pricy but it worth it. many people are saying many things that are not truthful honestly, personaly i do not agree thats right... i do not agree the have: great service, amazing food, and i think the dress code is exceptional. ( one of our family friends had a wife she had a very bad disease they last place she ate was at outback stakehouse she told us that she wished the last place she ate at was casa d angelos!) mama mia!! i am speachless! all i can say is YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH CASA D ANGELO
Italian food to its core---great atmosphere--love the music/sometimes to loud! I go there once every two months just for kicks--it is a pick up place so dress your best if you are looking for the guy that have the Ferrari parked in the front! If you are a guy--good looking girls at the bar! Just go there to hang out---you will have a great time! hi Steve, hope you are doing well, health wise. Invite me for a comp dinner after all I have paid for some of your success! Ms.Fort Lauderdale Us Sabrina
Not only the best Italian food around but also the best steaks always cooked to perfection. Music in background of Frank Sinatra, great atmosphere. Those complaining about extensive wait of 2 hrs should try going to any decent restaurant such as Houstons. You will wait 2 hrs but as good as the food at Houstons, it is nothing compared to Anthony's. Relax and enjoy. You will not be rushed to give up your table which may cause a longer than expected delay.
I went to the one in Boca Raton, and the food was AMAZING! Everything was fresh and so flavorful. Not much of a wine drinker, but their list was so extensive that I just had to try something, and it was pretty good (again, don't really care for wine). But the thing that got me hooked, was the DESSERT. The best thing I've ever eaten in my life!!!
Im not a fan of the ambiance and the room that they seated us in was in much need of a facelift. The food is fresh but not outstanding. We decided to try this restaurant because it always seems so busy. I have traveled a lot in Italy and am familiar with the different regions and their flavors. Its fair to say that this place is just above fair.
This location never worked as a restaurant for anyone until NOW! The food is authentic in every way, from the Italian chef to his mama Italiana work there. You can't ever go wrong with the pizza, but try the pasta. If you never tasted REAL AUTHENTIC Italian (not from a can), try Panaretto. Excellent value. Finally, a local place that says HOME.
I found this place from the Susan Jones write up for "Veal Ponte Vecchio". however I didn't call ahead and they ran out of the dish. So the nice gentleman suggested I try their sole. OH WOW. it was excellent, it was lite, and melted in your mouth. The atmophere is quite and elegant. The service was exceptional. It's definatly a place to try.
this restaurant is never amazing, but never bad either. I am satisfied when I leave but never blown away. We eat there if we are starving and just happen to be passing by. I like the owner and respect that he is very hard working. He cares for his customers and that stands for a lot these days. I
