the guy named robert (bo) was suppose to give me a replacement rental because the one they gave me broke down after 2 days. So their tow company towed the car and gave me a case number so that they can locate the car. The car showed it was at the location just wasnt scanned in yet. They told me I would have to wait until after the holiday to see a supervisor. This is ridiculous I explained that I called them before I came way from west palm beach fl. Just to be turned around. When they gave me the vehicle it was dirty and not vacuumed or anything. Bad service sucks.

This alamo was was the worst experiences I had in rental car. This is the location right outside of port everglade, where the cruise ships board and depart.After my departure of carnival cruise. I exit out the terminal. A rental car representative told me to go onto the shuttle , which will take me to the alamo on 1700 eller Dr. When I get there a Mr Al brown will match all competitor prices. So I went. After 5 minute waiting to go to agent , and another 20 minute standing on line. I was help by Alandee Brown aka Al Brown. Yes he will match prices , when I approach him. So I showed him the current price from expedia. It was $94 for 3 days. His professionalism then change. No we cannot do this . Since I was there I ask if they can adjust his price some where close . His price was $240. No we cannot help you. He then told me I can take the shuttle back to port. I got fed up. No point of continuing this conversation with him. I will take this to alamo corporate. I called uber , book my car thru expedia , thrifty .for $94What a waste of 1hr with alamoI will post this up in all social media for all vacationers to be careful with alamo in 1700 eller Dr fort Lauderdale Florida 33316.Hope my bad experience can prevent others from ruining your vacation.

Stay away ! Booked my car in January for my July trip ... got here and was told they had no cars for me or my sister !! All they could do was refund the money after leaving us stranded in Fort Lauderdale with three kids, Fourth of July week, at 1030 pm!! Horrible business !! Before we got on plane We even had confirmation emails sent that the cars were ready for us !!! Horrible business

SCAM SCAM SCAM Stay away from this place!!! To make a very long story short, we reserved a vehicle weeks in advance and then were told when we got there the vehicle was no longer available, even though we had our reservation and everything. On top of that, "pricing changed" so that wanted to raise our rate by $300 AND charge us for their mandatory Sunpass (no other rental center forces you to purchase this)!! Altogether they added $500 to our agreed upon and RESERVED PRICE. We wasted a day of our vacation on this scam. STAY AWAY!!! We went next door and paid $500 less. NOT A JOKE--this place is an unbelievable scam that preys on naive customers who have had a long day of traveling.

They are NOT located at the airport. Anyway, when you take delivery of your rental car, they don't review your contract with you, they just put an electronic signature pad on the counter with 9 - yes, nine - places for you to sign and click OK. I saw another employee do this to another customer when I returned my car. First, they automatically charge you $16 for an airport shuttle ride whether you need one or not. Secondly, when I picked up my car, the employee told me that there was a $200 damage deposit, but how much was it REALLY? $300. Third, they automatically add $10 to your bill to cover interstate tolls, whether you need them or not. That's right, even if you drive straight from the Ace rental car office to your motel right next door, you still get to pay for Interstate tolls. Worst of all: If you want to apply your own car insurance on the rental, you better ram it down their throat because they will NOT ask you for it and then they will automatically charge you for Florida state liability insurance. I called up to complain and an employee on the phone told me that they WOULD refund the insurance charges to me if I showed them proof of insurance. But, when I returned the car and showed the employee my insurance, he told me that they would NOT refund the insurance charges. I mumbled something under my breath about calling the Florida Attorney General, to which he immediately said that someone already removed the charges - which was BEFORE I showed anyone proof of my insurance! Businesses that operate in the tourist industry, especially in tourist areas like South Florida, will scam you every chance they get because they know that a lot of people get very disoriented when they're traveling or on vacation and they don't take time to read the fine print. Plus, they know that in a few hours you will be hundreds or thousands of miles away, powerless to do anything about it. DON'T vacation in South Florida and DON'T rent from Ace rental car in Fort Lauderdale.

Great service. Professional staff. Good choice of vehicles. I fly into Fort Lauderdale often and Enterprise is the only rental company i would consider using. Fast check in, even faster returns of vehicle. Just great service every time. Thank you...

I love being in the Emerald Club. Just pick a car and go. I returned a little short on gas and they marked it as full. Thank You so much National. For sure the best rental car company.

Due to a flight delay I arrived to pick up my car just as the office was closing. All of the Enterprise staff were wonderful and provided me with outstanding customer service. The young man who met us in the lot went out of his way to find just the right car for my son and me and he could have easily limited our selection due to the late hour but instead put the customer first.Kudos to Enterprise for hiring great people!!

Getting the car was quick and painless. Everyone was very helpful and courteous. The return was also quick and painless.

The folks at the Fort Lauderdale Alamo were outstanding! They were very helpful and most of all understanding. I am an Alamo customer for life.
