I went to the club for my first time last night on New Year's Eve - it was amazing! No drama, hot dancers, and free drinks and a buffet! What more could I ask for while here on vacation on a fixed budget. Several of the dancers spoke to me and were a bit pushy, but that is expected. I had a great time, good music, drag shows, hot dancers, and great food - what more could I ask for?
We were spending the night at the Riverside Hotel and decided to go here for dinner. We arrived at 8:00 and asked for a table inside. She took our name and said it would be about 30 minutes and that she would text us when our table was ready. At about 8:45 we got the text. Went to the front and they tried to seat us outside. We told them we had asked for an inside table and the girl that took our name said, oh that is my fault, I put you down for 1st available. They said it could be another 30 minutes before they could seat us inside. We left and we wont' be back. :( :( :(
On Wednesday we went to the establishment to enjoy the 50 cent wing night. I noticed right away that the sidewalk was impassable because of diners eating, drinking and smoking on the sidewalk with the odor of the cigarette smoke emanating into the restaurant. Once inside, my husband ordered 10 teriyaki wings, and I ordered 10 lemon pepper wings, 3 others in our parties ordered 10 wings a piece also. When the wings arrived, I noticed that my wings had an odor like they were fried with fish. I tried at least 2 of them but could not eat any more. My husband tried one bite and told me he didn't like my wings either but his wings tasted OK.At the end of the meal one of the members of our party had a few wings left over and she wanted to take them home and the waitress told her that she was not allowed to provide a to go box and they had to be eaten in the restaurant. When the bill arrived I looked at it and it was $69.00. I thought it was expensive for a party who just ordered 50 cent wings and drinks. I noticed that they charged $4.25 for a beer and we consumed approximately five of them. From my perspective his is very expensive for a Bud Light. With all this being said I felt like I was the victim of a bait and switch where substandard food is sold at a cheep price and then they maximize the cost of beer. Had I known this I would have drank water but they probably would have charged me for that too.I promise one thing I will never return there again and I will strongly recommend this sentiment to my friends and family who are in that area frequently because of their affiliations with Cardinal Gibbons High School.
My Friend and I were going to go out to lunch for the first time. I said let's going to Las Olas. We were in Fort Lauderdale running errands. We drove down Las Olas viewing the options we had. She said let's try the Italian place. I said ok. We walked in we were greet prompted. She said this place has a good vibe. It's like the restaurants in New York. She's from New York. Bryon, our waiter was fabulous. He thought we were on vacation. He told him we were local. He asked if we were celebrating something. We were just going out to lunch. He was extremely patience did not rush us through the extensive menu. We ordered the Farro Grain Bowl and Rigatoni Broccoli. We also ordered a cheese and salami plate as an appetizer. We let Bryon select the cheeses and salami for us. Everything was great. Throughout the lunch my friend said wow this was a real great choice in restaurants. We also ordered a bottle of Josh Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Our glasses very never empty. Bryon was very attentive to us. We also ordered the Tiramisu which was probably the best Tiramisu I every had.
Went here for dinner, great burgers!! Great atmosphere and staff!! The spinach dip was the best!! I could've just eaten that and been fine. We want to try Sunday Brunch!!
The food is better at this Roadhouse than others. Being on the intracoastal helps everything. There is a restaurant upstairs and downstairs. The upstairs was better service.
Kavasutra is the best Kava Bar with the friendliest and most knowledgeable staff. A+++
It's a lot of fun here conversation always going on with the person sitting next to you or your bartender. The place looks great inside it's small but it's a very fun environment they have this tradition where you can write on a dollar bill and staple it on the wall to show that you have been there I can't tell you how many single dollar bills are stapled around the walls there. All the bartenders are very attractive very cute most of the girls wear knee-high socks and it's about 90% female stuff. You will never see anybody on their phone in there they all take their job serious food comes out almost immediately prices are easy to work with and they specialize in fireball whiskey they even have these amazing chicken wings called fireball wings make sure you try them it's probably the best wings I have ever had and I have been to a lot of wings places these will get you hooked. It's right down the street from me so sometimes when I can't find plans I'll take a cab up there and just go hang out because every time I'm there I always leave happy. Replace great food great bedside manner great service just amazing they actually opened up a new one off of North Federal. But this one will always be my favorite
