Hostess was old and tired. A wash bucket and broom had to be moved for my wife and myself to sit down. My mashed potatoes and meat special was only "Luke" worm and the meat was tough. It seems some Applebee's are good and some bad. It is evident this depends on the management. However, all Applebee's take the rap of any bad management.
So I went in Perkins for the first and last time. I have had surgery on my stomach in August. So I like to order of the kids menu. I asked for one and was given it. I ordered the one egg, 2 slices bacon, a little hash brown and a slice of toast. The waitress took my order and I was excited. Then the hostess came over and asked me why I had ordered of the kids menu? I pulled out my card showing my surgery. Jill the hostess says well I don't know why you can't order on the adult menu. I said that what I wanted is what I ordered. I also asked what the problem was. Did I need to leave? Jills response was if I wanted to. I was floored by this. She was Very rude. And then told me she was management. Wow never again.

Are people in Fort Dodge been gracious on giving stars to undeserving restaurant?They don't always seem to not have enough servers and taking an order seems taking forever. I mean forever. How about their overpriced menu? Cleanliness of their utensils is always questionable and spot and stains on silverware are disgusting to use. Please do something about it or don't we deserve better restaurants?
Gotta be kidding!!!Their salad was one of the worst food I've ever tasted. Presentation and cleaness of the plate was horrible and I do not know why Health Dept. won't shut them down.
