Pet Palace Kennel

This is the 2nd time i've boarded my pet(s) here.

The 1st time i boarded my 7 y/o and house broken dog over the holidays for 9 days. When i picked up my dog, i noticed that as soon as she got out of the building and onto the grass she went #2...A LOT of #2. I thought it odd because the owner said she takes the dogs out 3-4 times a day but, i gave her the benefit of the doubt.

The 2nd time i boarded my dogs for 4 days. This time i went inside and the owner brought me the dogs beds ,said she washed the small bed because one peed on it. I thought OK, because the puppy was only partly house broken. Then she brought out the large dogs bed and we both realized she peed on it. It was then i realized something was very wrong. My large dog is very house broken and would NEVER pee inside unless she absolutely had to. When she was let out this time, she peed almost 10 times and #2 again A LOT. The owner said she let them out at 3:30 but what i had not realized that her version of out was a fenced in concrete pad on the back if the pens. It was then i knew why she went to the bathroom so badly when she was finally outside...after 4 days. She is housebroken and would NEVER go in any enclosed space. I'm sure the lady meant well but, she said she never watches the dogs to see if they go to the bathroom when they are out in the outside pen. How can you not realize even eventually if the dog went to the bathroom or not in an enclosed pen??

I was very concerned about this and i think she realized that when i questioned her about it. She said this she'll have to start actually walking the dogs outside on a leash, which is what i thought she was doing in the first place. .......nice lady, means well i'm sure but, after seeing that, i think i'll be looking elsewhere next time.
