Edge Computer Repair and Data Recovery

Writing from my working computer right now. The Edge staff showed extensive knowledge and quality work. I took my computer in this morning and got it back in couple of hours. Excellent service for a very moderate price. I would not trust my laptop to anyone else.

I am a faculty member at Colorado State University. The CSU IT folks suggested I call one of the two Apple repair shops or the Edge Computer Repair store in Fort Collins for damage to my MacBook. My morning energy drink spilled and ran down and inside my 2017 MacBook Pro. The MacBook was dead and I was out $2500. I called all three computer repair shops. Sam at Edge Computer Repair was the most responsive on the phone so I took it there. Just as my IT folks told me, Sam at Edge said my green drink was all over the inside, circuits were already corroded, no power, etc... I just wanted the data. Edge went to work, cleaned out the green mess, replaced circuits, soldered fine connections, etc... Two days later the MacBook Pro was alive and running as new. All of my data was there! What I learned - don't mix a MacBook with your morning drink, use the Time Machine backup, and always call Edge Computer Repair for any hardware issues. They were friendly, courteous and very professional. I see another reviewer was upset about their experience with Sam. My experience was just the opposite. Edge has my highest recommendation. Dr. J
