**NON DOMESTIC CAR OWNERS BEWARE** around april 24th 2018 I brought my 2006 BMW 530 xi to european motor cars inc on riverside ave in fort collins because of a "transmission fault" error. European motor cars inc uses aamco for a lot of their transmission jobs. long story short apparently the error was occurring because of an issue that has been known to happen in these transmissions when they get over a cretin mileage. the recommendation from Lance the owner at aamco was to rebuild vs. replace. one week and $3200 later I picked up my car (5/1/18) with a claimed "rebuilt" transmission. it didn't last one day before giving the same error code and forcing the car in to limp mode. because 5/1 was a friday I was not able to get the car back to the shop until the following monday 5/4/18. here we are at 6/22/18 and still nothing. my friends have started to joke that maybe they've sold my car. When i speak to the owners at european motor cars i am told that this is possibly happening because good help is hard to find is the transmission business. regardless, 2 months without my primary vehicle is completely unacceptable.

stay far away. They will charge you for services they don't perform. Overfill your transmission, lock the key in the vehicle and scratch your paint to unlock the truck

Great Service & budget prices! They fix way more then Transmissions!

These guys have been wonderful to us over the years, from checking out cars for us we were looking to buy, to fixing problems with our cars when we couldn't figure it out. They have never charged us to take a look and when we have had work done they were the best price if we called around price shopping for the work. I have never gotten any sales pitches and when I have had times I couldn't afford to do the work right away, they thanked me for bringing in my car and didn't try to push for the work to be done. Over the years I have seen the same faces each time, unlike most places that the workers come and go constantly.
