I have used them for my last three visits. The exam process is very good but they have a real hard time with the actual glasses. Twice they missed my clamp on sunglasses. They claim it was the lab that misplaced them. So, why do you call me to let me know that my glasses are ready. Make a note on the order to make sure everything is returned from the lab before you call the customer. My time is valuable. I am done with this place. I will give Costco a try next time.I am raising my rating because of their commitment to get things right. As long as you are not happy with your glasses, they will do whatever is needed to get it right.

Best optical I have ever been to! Dr. Eric was extremely thorough during my exam. He really took the time to get to know my vision needs. Didn't feel like just a number, unlike other opticals i have been to. Huge selection of frames and sunglasses. The opticians were very knowledgeable and guided me towards the perfect glasses. They also knew my insurance benefits before I even arrived. Vision Eyeland billed my insurance and dealt with that side of things which saved me a lot of time. I will definitely be returning yearly!
Poor service! Front desk staff and Staff rude and have no customer service skills with an attitude.

Horrendous service. They charge fees that the insurance company said they shouldn't, and then bad-mouth the patient to the insurance company. Apparently, having the gall to ask questions about the ehalth of your eyes can lead to your being labeled a "problem patient" and lead to your being charged extra. Avoid this shop like the plague!
Unbelievably poor service from the office staff. Which is sad because the doctors are fantastic. The office does not return phone calls, they are completely apathetic and could care less if you are happy with their service or not. They do not accept responsibility for their mistakes, they just make excuses. Yesterday they laughed at me when I pointed it out it has been A MONTH and my daughter still doesn't have her glasses. After giggling she said "yeah, we know." I have called THREE times. At first they told me the glasses were shipping overnight delivery and would be here Monday. Now three days later (after no word from them) I call back and they cannot give me answer. Not once have they called me. Not once have they followed up to see what the problem is. I asked to speak with the manager to get this resolved but apparently she is on vacation. Maybe that is why the office is so poorly run. The lady that I did speak to doesn't care in the slightest that they screwed up. Nor does she care that one of their employees laughed at me. I'm done with this office. They charge WAY too much to provide this poor of service. I am shocked at all the reviews here saying how great the office staff are. We have been coming to VIsion Eyeland for 10 years and the service has always been bad, very long wait times and very unfriendly people. The ONLY reason we stayed was because of the doctors. But it is just so bad now that not even the wonderful doctors make up for the poor service.
Highly recommended. Very capable and friendly. Dr. Bowman is great.
The doctors are great and I always enjoy coming into Vision Eyeland because of how organized and clean it looks.
Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Always willing to order frames they don't always carry in store.
