I concur, the staff seemed more interested in what time the bar opened than the customers, looked like a bunch of tweekers running the place in to the ground. If this is a concession, they need to find a new partner. I was driving an hour one way to deliver some food and medicine one of our kids left behind. Got treated like a criminal the whole time I was there, they kept coming to my car every 5 minutes to see when I was leaving. They wanted to charge me $5 a person to visit for the day and $12 for my dog. Told them NO WAY, drove the medicine in and left. They have a speed limit of 5mph, but I think I went 50mph just to ge the hell out of this armpit the call a resort. Close this place, it's terrible!

This campground is pretty awful. I camp on a pretty normal basis, and found this campground to be one of the worst camping experiences of my life. The campground conditions are not only extremely under par but the campground staff is extremely rude and ignorant. The toilets were disgusting! There were multiple body fluids all over the bathrooms all 4 days we were there. More often than not there was no toilet paper. The campers are locked in the campsite overnight, and the staff is very rude when they are awoken in the middle of the night to open the gate in an emergency. My friend was driving up a little later than everyone else because she was on a flight. On the way she got lost for nearly 2 hours getting there a little after midnight (she was expected about 10). 10 is the time they ""close the gate"" for the evening. Upon arrival, with no way to contact us (cell phone reception is extremely poor), she hung out for a while before trying to have the gate opened by someone on the staff. The staff refused to open the gate so she decided she would go up the road just a bit and try to sleep in her jeep, until morning. After a while a few of us started going to the gate periodically to check for her. We never found her at the gate, so we started to get worried and went to the office to see if we could have them open the gate so we could go and look for her. They denied us this access, and told us she had been there and was up the road sleeping. With no cell phone contact we could not call her to let her know we were at the gate. The campground staff would not let us use their phone or open the gate for us. We thought that this was extremely out of line because we knew she was just up the road. You would think that since they were up the staff may as well open the gate. WRONG! And to make this worse, the Sheriff was called the next day and some of us were ""evicted"" from the property for breaking the rules. I guess asking for the gate to be opened was breaking the rules. BAD!
