I was looking for a Tap Room in the Folsom after moving back from the Bay area. I wanted a place with a good beer selection with good food. Been to many tap rooms and breweries. Doyle's has an excellent beer selection with great food made fresh to order. With 18 taps, a full bar, and a great kitchen, Doyle's is the place to be. Finally, the people at Doyle's are a special group. Friendly and attentive. They take pride in making sure you leave with a smile. Give them a chance to show you what everyone else had learned. Doyle's is your hometown destination.
The worst service I ever had in my life!!!! The bearded server was sooooo rude - go get water at the bar, kitchen getting ready to close, no food for you - this words we heard when we came to this place! He was yelled to us ( company of 7 girls with two 10-old kids) and same time turn his head and was super nice to people next table from us! We were in shock!!!!Kids were sitting outside by the table and we're eating food I ordered by the bar! But he demands to kick them out from their premises, cuz suddenly no kids allowed after 10! We left...Our evening was ruined! And I hope your life - you don't have career anyway, you are - server with a beard - will be ruin some day! Believe me!Not even a 1 star this place deserved! Or hire better people to help customers feel right and relaxed on Saturday evening! I will contact Tim McDonell, the owner, if I want to!
Great traditional pub in the heart of old Folsom. Came here for lunch and I like their smaller lunch portions that are offered. I had the fish and chips and my boyfriend got the pasty. Both were delicious and came out piping hot. For the small crown that was in there, we waited a good amount of time for our lunch, but luckily we weren't in a hurry. I'll be cal to try their shepards pie.
I love everything about this tavern. It has character the minute you walk in, you must respect the beer, and the food is absolutely delicious. I've had Johnny Cash burger and this last time got the pepper sando which had the perfect amount of spice. I cannot wait to go back!
This is a little pricey for lunch but the location makes it worth paying a little extra for the meals. A group of friends all had different menu items, and all of us were more than pleased with what we got . The view is magnificent.
You want a pub this is where you need to go. Great location in old Folsom to go. Just know that parking can be hard sometimes in this area.
my second place do drink beer on sutter street, but that's not fair since they are only a block from Sam horne's Tavern. I really enjoy the authentic pub atmosphere and food.
best beer in town. it really is. I drive 20 miles to come here and have a few beers at least once a month. plus the tater tots are the best.
Great place for brunch, lovely and attentive staff. Plenty of indoor seating and a cool covered patio quiet enough for conversation with smooth jazz playing in the background
This pub is so fun. I love the decor. The booths are nice & private. The beer was cold & the food was good. Only weird thing was to order at the bar.
