I love this school. I like the way they teach, especially because the teachers are young and the teachers are easy to understand. The director she is so friendly and cares a lot about the students. I have gone to a couple other English schools before but I never liked it and I wasn't comfortable. But here it's very nice and welcoming.
My two girls attended Crayon Box for over two years and they absolutely loved it! The director, Mrs. Virginia is amazing! The teachers and staff were always very friendly and great with the children. It's a very clean and well organized school. My girls no longer attend cause we recently moved.
My English has improved a lot since I joined. Really amazing environment to study, friendly atmosphere and the administration is so helpful. They give you advice and all the information that you need. Everyone is very professional including the faculty. They really work hard to improve your English, grammar, vocabulary, presentation skills, reading & writing skills. One of the best Academies in NY, each student gets the full attention & given a chance to express. Also, the courses are less expensive than so many other places but yet up to the mark.
Global ESL Academy, is without doubts a good school you should enroll if your goal is learn or improve your English. It is located in a small building at Flushing, New York, and it has three classrooms, no more than 15 students each one.The classes are very interesting, so the hours fly when you are there!I studied for 5 months in the advanced level, I had two teachers, both young, smart and able to teach us; Heather's classes were the best! If you want to register there you could talk either Shira, Angela or Kenny. They might help you with all you need. People there is great! I am sure I improved my English there, and as I said to Shira (by thy way she Rocks too) ESL Academy is a cozy place I will always have in my heart, and I can assure you, you are going to have a great experience studying there!100% recommended!
The school is amazing, the director is a welcoming person, teachers are great, I love that school so much
LOVE THIS PRESCHOOL! I am a mother of 3 little girls. Twins ages 5 and their younger sister who is 4. My girls have all been going here for almost 2 years now. The owner and director of the school Ms. Virginia is amazing! Very warm and welcoming and runs a very structured, clean, organized and fun environment for children. My twin daughters cried all day for almost 2 months, now I don't even get a goodbye in the mornings. The hours are awesome for a working parent, drop off at 7:30 and pick up no later than 6:00. My twin daughters also have asthma and when they are sick with asthma episodes I need not to worry ONE BIT! My daughters get their treatments and the teachers keep to my schedule. Academically this school rocks! HW every other night which consists of tracing, coloring, cutting & pasting. Only one sheet per HW night and it is very manageable. Breakfast and snacks are served at school only lunch has to be sent in. Which they warm up =)I love love love this school and I am sad my twins will be going to kindergarten in September =(
Nice place to improve English. Small classes and great teachers make this place unbelievable. I prepared there for my TOEFl and got grade to enter the college.
I had the unfortunate expereince with dealing with this daycare. I went to see them to enroll my child. They accepted her knowing that she was younger then their age requirement and took a $250 deposit two months in advance of her start date. I called them randomly more than a month later only to be told that they no longer accept my child due to her age. This daycare has caused me undue hardship because in the interium I had to scramble to find alternate daycare since I gave notice to my current sitter. If it wasn't for me calling, who knew when this place would of called to inform me that my child cannot attend. Needless to say this place is unreliable and definitely not professional. Also, if you have a 3 yr. old or older child, they will be taught by a teacher that speaks broken English and always sounds very flustered. Why pay money to have your child be taught by someone who is not fluent in the language? Lastly, on my visit to this place, they left a little girl alone sleeping in a stroller while 1 teacher attended to me and my child while we were there walking around and inspecting the place and their were two other kids there. My advice....stay away! They are not cheap and for the price you can definitely find better! FYI, I would have given them no stars but the review is set up so that you have to give a star.
