Doggie Do Gooders is the best dog walking service in Queens. I love my dog more than anything (don't tell my wife) and they love him just as much. They have always gone the extra mile for us. My wife and I had to leave on a family matter rather unexpectedly and Doggie Do Gooders was able to handle four walks a day, our dog hates to be boarded, on short notice. Not only did they do that, but due to the short notice my wife and I forget to get meat to mix into his food (the only way he will eat if we're not here), after he didn't eat they went and bought him ham and turkey at a local deli and mixed it into his food twice a day. Most places wouldn't do that or, if by some slim chance, they did would give you a bill for the meat, that's not how Doggie Do Gooders operates, they really care for your dog. If I ever leave Queens my only regret will be that my dog will loose not only his best friends, but his guardian angels. Thanks Doggie Do Gooders you have really raised the bar for what a dog walking service should be.
I have 2 cats and a boxer that I had rescued about a year ago who needs special attention. I use this service and find the owners to be very caring of my pets (as if they were their own) and this is very important to me. I think their rates are very reasonable and I have only had a good experience. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
I have tried so many different doggy daycares for my dog but they all gave him so much anxiety that he got sick. I was searching for the perfect solution and Doggie DO Gooders was it. Not only does he get to stay home, but he gets great on-on-one company from all their extremely caring staff. I appreciate all the informative daily notes and their reliability is where they shine. It has been a wonderful 5 year relationship and I bet my dog would agree! I would not trust anybody else.
While we vacationed elsewhere, our 2 very large dogs vacationed at my elderly parents home. Doggie Do Gooders took excellent care of the dogs, not only providing the necessary walks and feedings, but giving our epileptic lab his heavy duty meds and cleaning up after the dog’s occasional bout of diarrhea. Doggie left daily written reports of the dogs’ activities and even ran an occasional errand for my parents. They were very respectful of the fact that they were taking care of animals in a home where people were present, and tried to make themselves innocuous when entering or leaving, while not scaring my parents.
DDG has been the only service we have entrusted our cats to when we travel. They are reliable, trustworthy and highly competent. Our first cat required medications and shots twice a day, which DDG performed without fail. We now have two cats adopted as kittens four years ago. DDG has gone to the extent of hunting them both down each visit to make sure they were both accounted for before DDG left the house. We have been away for ten days at a time, and DDG has not only played with the cats each visit, but writes a note each visit to report on the cats' activities and well-being. I cannot recommend them enough.
I am a military family which means we move around a lot. While I was living in New York Doggie Do Gooders took care of my dog Sully and both my cats. I was also lucky enough to work for Doggie Do Gooders which really allowed me to see the behind the scenes effort that goes into taking care of peoples pets.
Doggie Do Gooders and their staff are hard working, honorable, trustworthy and caring. They really do treat your pets like one of their own.
I was immediately at ease with the idea of giving them the keys to my house, and entrusting them the care of my pets. When my dog Sully was sick all over the place (and I mean all over the place) DDG called me at work, cleaned it up, and waited with Sully til I got home to make sure he was ok. Now that was above and beyond! If you saw the mess you would agree :)
I highly recommend Doggie DO Gooders to be your pet sitter! You won't be sorry!
Doggie Do Gooders took care of my cat while I was away. She is a kidney failure cat who needs fluids administered once a week under her skin. I felt so comfortable knowing that she was being cared for in her own home by the capable care-givers at Doggie Do Gooders. Boarding can be very stressful for an animal, but when they are cared for in their own home they are so much happier. Everything I did for her to keep her comfortable and safe was being done by Doggie Do Gooders while I was away. Then I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work for Doggie Do Gooders and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I LOVE animals so this was the perfect job for me. Not only did I experience the great care Doggie Do Gooders gave my animals I also was able to provide the same services for others through my work at DDG. The people who work at DDG are like a family....and I heartily recommend them to anyone who needs pet sitting services.
