All we can say is WOW! This was a three group effort from construction, staining, and putting in the rods. All three groups were professional and highly skilled. I can't say enough about Felipe who did the staining as looks fantastic. He truly is a master painter! We could not be more pleased!

I actually found Alex via Craigslist. I have found a ton of great home improvment people and products there, but am always just a tiny bit concerned about the overall quality. I was expecially concerned because (1) the project would be so visible, and there was clearly no going back once you started it and (2) Alex was SO inexpensive, it seemed too good to be true.



We moved into our house seven years ago, and to get the iron spindles would have been $3,000, I remember that distinctly because it was something I really wanted, but just had to pass on.



My quote from Alex was $940! He showed up right on time, had great suggestions on what to do, what he thought would look best, and WOW was he right.



I cannot tell you what an improvement this is in our house. We LOVE it. If you are thinking about this at all, take the step NOW, you will not be sorry.

My stairs had the standard white, wooden, builder-version ballisters. I was interested in having wrought-iron installed, and found 'Grand Stairways' on the Internet. My stairs are in a small out-of-the way corner next to my front door entry, and the white wooden ballisters just looked "ordinary". One phone conversation with Alex about what I wanted and listening to his suggestions was all it took. Less than a week later I have a beautiful new, dramatic, "open-feeling" stairway.



Grand Stairways prices are extremely reasonable, and you just can't beat the professionalism. The service was quick, the work area spotless upon completion, and the results beautiful. I highly recommend Grand Stairways!
