        General Info
        Karen Rose founded Classic Carpet out of her home in 1980 driven by her passion for decorating, customer service and treating people right. At a time when there were very few women in the flooring industry, Karen created a staff with decorating experience, which focused on finding the right products for clients homes. The companys innovative free shop at home service allowed customers the unique opportunity to have the sales presentation in their home. This practice, still used today, conveniently allows our customers to match up flooring samples with their home furnishings. Karen also founded the St. Louis Chapter of the World Floor Covering Association in an effort to bring a code of ethics to the independent flooring dealers of St. Louis. Michael Rose now runs the business with adherence to Karens personal touch to customer service. Michael has also brought additional emphasis on product knowledge to the business in order to further help consumers choose the right products for their homes. The store offers everyday low pricing and does not have sales. Our sales staffs job is to educate consumers and provide decorating guidance in a low-pressure environment. President Michael Rose personally calls every job to get feedback on our work, and our work is not complete until the customer is 100% satisfied. Since our business is 85% repeat or referral customers, our reputation and customers complete satisfaction is paramount to our success.

        I bought a mohawk smart strand...

        I bought a mohawk smart strand carpet for three bedrooms, and a hall. The sales person brought samples to my house and helped me select the right style and the right color of carpet. The carpet is great. The installers did a nice job, were polite, and worked really hard.

        super work - use them!

        I found Classic on Angies List and I am spreading the word because I was pleased with their work. I have vinyl put in my kitchen and laundry room. Their installer terry did an excellent job. He had exceptional attention to detail. Debby the sales lady was also very nice to work with.

        I like Classic Carpet!

        We were referred to Classic Carpet & Flooring by our realtor when we moved in our new house in Creve Couer. They met us during our final walk through and measured the house. We then met in our 'old' house in valley park ~ and they brought out lots of hardwood and carpet samples. The sales person was very nice and knowledgable. The installation of the new hardwood and carpet went smooth. The floors look great, and the carpet crews even vacuumed when they finished. I think this is a great company (plus its woman owned ~ which i always think is best).



        I recommend them!

        Overall
        a good store

        I found Classic Carpet & Flooring's number from a friend, they did a great job, and saved me money. I had went to Lowe's first, and got no help. Diane helped me at Classic Carpet, she was very knowledgable and easy to work with.



        I would definately recommend them.
