I GIVE ONE STAR ONLY BECAUSE THERE IS NO OPTION FOR ZERO STARS. AS A CUSTOMER OF 20 YEARS I CANNOT BELIEVE I HAVE TO WRITE THIS REVIEW. THIS PLACE IS RIPPING OFF THEIR CUSTOMERS! THEIR PORTIONS HAVE BEEN BECOMING INCREASINGLY CHINTZY OVER THE PAST YEAR -- LESS AND LESS MEAT AND MORE AND MORE RICE AND VEGETABLES. I ORDER THE SAME THING EVERY TIME, CASHEW CHICKEN. THEY HAVE BEEN PUTTING MORE AND MORE RICE UNDERNEATH AN INCREASINGLY THIN LAYER OF CASHEW CHICKEN, PLUS THE NORMAL AMOUNT OF RICE ON THE SIDE. AFTER A COUPLE OF TIMES OF REQUESTING THEM TO PUT THE RICE ONLY ON THE SIDE, THEY INFORMED ME THAT THEY WILL HAVE TO CHARGE ME EXTRA FOR DOING THAT. SO THE LAST COUPLE OF TIMES I DID NOT REQUEST ANY SPECIAL CHANGES. TONIGHT I GET HOME WITH MY FOOD AND ONCE AGAIN, I FIND A BED OF RICE UNDERNEATH A VERY THIN LAYER OF CASHEW CHICKEN. I CALLED AND VERY POLITELY SPOKE WITH THE MANAGER. I TOLD HER I HAVE BEEN COMING TO HER RESTAURANT FOR 20 YEARS AND I LOVE THEIR FOOD AND WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO KEEP ENJOYING IT, BUT I POINTED OUT THE PROBLEM AND SHE WAS ABSOLUTELY RUDE AND TOLD ME I'M WRONG. SHE TOLD ME THEY MAKE IT THE SAME WAY EVERY TIME. WE WENT BACK AND FORTH AND FINALLY SHE ASKED ME WHAT I WOULD LIKE HER TO DO ABOUT IT. I KINDLY ASKED HER TO PLEASE JUST REPLACE MY ORDER THE NEXT TIME I COME IN. SHE DECLARED "NO! WE'RE NOT DOING THAT. THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH YOUR FOOD! YOU CAN BRING IT BACK AND WE'LL RE-MAKE THE ORDER FOR YOU OR GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK". I SAID "MA'AM I'VE WORKED 10 HOURS TODAY AND I'M HOME FOR THE NIGHT". SHE REPLIED "I DON'T CARE YOU WORK 10 HOURS. WE ALL WORK. I WORK 12 HOURS TODAY. WE NOT GIVING YOU FREE FOOD". I ASKED HER IF SHE VALUED ME AS A CUSTOMER OF 20 YEARS AND SHE SAID "NO! THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH YOUR FOOD". I DID NOT WANT TO BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF AND EAT PLAIN FRIED RICE FOR DINNER FOR 8 BUCKS, SO FINALLY I AGREED TO DRIVE BACK, RETURN MY FOOD, AND GET A REPLACEMENT. WHEN I GOT THERE SHE CONTINUED TO BE RUDE AND RAISED HER VOICE AT ME. I SAW HER TAKE MY FOOD AND THROW IT IN THE TRASH CAN. THEN SHE TELLS ME "HERE LET ME SHOW YOU HOW WE MAKE IT. IT'S GOING TO BE THE SAME WAY NEXT TIME TOO" . I SAID "NO, NO IT'S NOT. BECAUSE YOU JUST LOST A CUSTOMER - A CUSTOMER OF 20 YEARS. I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE. YOU'RE RIPPING PEOPLE OFF! IT'S WRONG. IT'S WRONG." , AND I WALKED OUT. ON THE WAY OUT OF THE RESTAURANT, I SPOKE WITH ANOTHER CUSTOMER ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED AND HE TOLD ME HE AGREED AND THAT HE ALSO HAS NOTICED THAT THEY HAVE BEEN USING LESS AND LESS MEAT AND MORE AND MORE RICE. AT LEAST I'M NOT THE ONLY CUSTOMER THAT NOTICES. I HAVE GONE TO THIS PLACE 3, 4, 5 TIMES A MONTH OR MORE FOR THE PAST 20 YEARS. HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS SPENT AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. NO PLACE OF BUSINESS SHOULD EVER TREAT A VALUED CUSTOMER LIKE THAT AND I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO INSULTED IN MY LIFE. THESE PEOPLE DO NOT VALUE THEIR CUSTOMERS AND THEY ARE HAPPY WITH THEMSELVES TO RIP YOU OFF. BE AWARE! FLORISSANT BUSINESSES ARE DYING BECAUSE OF CRIME AND THIS ONE IS DIGGING THEIR OWN GRAVE BY TREATING SOLID CUSTOMERS LIKE DIRT. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING RIPPED OFF --- SHAME ON YOU CHINA KING!!! SHAME!!!

ZERO STARS because this place is AWFUL IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY!!! Last Sunday I order a Combination plate of Cashew Chicken w/ Pork Fried Rice and 2 Crab Rangoon... There was NOT EVEN ONE SINGLE CASHEW IN THE PLATE. The water-chestnuts tasted like they had been soaked for a month in vinegar, the fried rice was very greasy and tasted old. When I called to let them know, the lady said "We give you 1 free egg roll next time okay?"... I explained that was not okay because and egg roll cost $1.20 and my combination plate was $7. Finally, she agreed to replace my order, which she should have done in the first place. The following day, I called to have my order replaced, and the lady tells me they are out of pork today, so the fried rice would be plain. "When will you be getting more pork in, ma'am?", I asked, and she replied, "Oh, uhh, I donno. Maybe weekend". So I called back and disguised my voice, and ordered Pork Chop Suey. And guess what? They had pork. I returned to my normal voice and asked the lady why she had just lied to me... And she hung up. No wonder this place has such poor reviews. I just moved into this neighborhood and was looking for a good, reliable Chinese restaurant. Their ignorance, poor food and poor service has permanently lost them a customer, and earned them a well-deserved, TERRIBLE review. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU FEEL LIKE THROWING MONEY AWAY!!!!! WORST CHINESE RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE!!!!! RIP OFF!!!! LIARS!!!! UNETHICAL!!!! BAD BUSINESS!!!
This was literally the worst dining experience of my entire life. The food was bland? No more like completely flavorless and disgusting. It was like the night of the living dead in there. Even the drinks sucked. How is this place even still in business? Must have a healthy clientele of geriatrics that no longer have taste buds. Anyone that has been there and come back for more is a fucking moron.
This place has gone down. The services is horrible. The food will make you deathly sick fish still had intestines in it. Hot food was cold once I made it to the table and I'm youthful. Lady laughing at register while telling me service no good huh... Of course they'll never get a penny from me again. I could hear everyone complaining. If you want a nice clean meal this isn't the place they continually add new food to old food and the new food looks like they picked it off an already eaten plate.
Customer service was terrible, everytime I come here my order is WRONG. I don't know why I ever come back because I'm never satisfied ( I guess the people I go with is the reason). This location has trimndously gone DOWN!! I ordered a drink as soon as I sat down, had to ask about it after I received my food then tried to give me a watered down drink, then offered to give it to me on the house then said nevermind!!!! I dont have an issue with that because I didn't want it but principal is it sat on the bar the rest of the time I was there. The manager walked past my table a couple of times and NEVER ask how we was doing or even said HELLO and he was not too busy!! Bar unprofessional, hostest never smiled and this review is coming from someones with a degree in Business management and communication. If I could give this location -5 stars I would. The waitress didnt even bring my husband and I any water. The hiring manager and the manager on staff should be ashamed in themselves for allowing this establishment to go down like this. I've given this location multiple chances to redeem themselves before I wrote this review but this was the final straw. The district manager must be slacking because there's no reason this location is this way!! Shame shame shame...this review is not from an angry customer but rather a concerned educated business person...your welcome. I was here 10/21/2016 between 10:15-11:15 pm. One nice thing I will say my pasta was good. I guess when I want 54th Street I'll go to a different location. Please have more standards for your staff!
I couldn't believe how I was treated today by the managers in here. I seen the manager spit in my food. Not to mention the roaches crawling all over the floor. When I complained about the roaches is when he started yelling at me. I would take my dog to eat there..
I love coming here. My favorite part 2 come is Sunday. Sunday BRUNCH is afraid fun Great food and great music. I recommend the pasta fleurissant.
If I could give negative stars I would. This place posts hours as 6am-9pm on its website. I wanted to try them out for breakfast for my husband's birthday. We arrived at 8:25 in the morning and the doors were LOCKED!!!! This is a horrible way to do business. If you can't get the hours right, what can you get right!
