Quik Cash

Complete garbage. I went here to get a loan on my guitar. I've used them before and never had a problem, but this time was horribly different. My guitar (and case) were in mint condition when I accepted their basement offer of $100. When I returned to pick it up the case had significant damage like it had been hurled into their back room. Now the guitar will not stay in tune for anything, and this guitar was setup so well that it literally almost never went out of tune. I know they'd never take responsibility, so I guess I'm just screwed.
The employees here are rude a-holes which I see a lot of people have experienced. Never go here again.

Avoid this place!!!! I went in looking for earrings. Was approached by one of the salesman and told him what I was looking for I found earring but the price was way too high he asked how much I was looking to spend he looked to see how much they bought them for and Told me he would sell them to me for my price. But he didn't tell me the diamonds in them were foggy,cracked and was worth nothing. I found out that I got scammed by them when I went to another quick cash to see if they were worth what paid. Of course they were worth nothing I paid $350 for a pair of earrings worth $50. What can I do they won't take them back.. Ripped off by them.... Stay away

TOTAL THIEVES I went into quick cash yesterday because I wanted to buy a ring for my birthday! I was greeted but there was some confusion of who would help me, finally a woman came and was nice, the first ring I looked at was $99.00 but I had more money to spend so I asked to see the one next to it with a standing tag of $149.00, the moment I showed genuine interest she said the tag was wrong and the price was $299.00 and no big deal they get moved? I was a little shocked that it was just s.o.p. so I moved to the next case and asked to see another ring priced $149.00 again, it was beautiful and I thought I had found my gift when again she said the card had been moved and the price on that one was $399.00. It appeared if someone shows interest in an item the price goes up and when I questioned the practice I was brushed off so i asked to see the manager, when I told him he said to give it to "her" for the price in front of it but she started yelling and said how rude and uncool I was? He then said he wasn't going to lose money because of something so little and to charge "her" the big tag price! I left, I've never been treated so rude by a business much less a manager. I've seen this woman in action before when I had been in the store with my husband but thought I was unaware of the circumstances but now I know what kind of people they are, "Hardcore Pawn wannabees! Never get another dime of my money and before the big change I and my husband were regular shoppers there. I don't want to award any stars but in order to review you have to give them something.

Absolute AHOLE. Went to Florence store to buy earrings. The " manager" rude from the start. Guy just wanted to fight. The young lady helping me was fine, we were close to price and F-head tells her to put them " back in case". What a dumb a**. I even went to one of their other stores to buy some.

Bottom line, I bought better ones somewhere else. Where's upper management? These are the type people you have taking care of you money and customers? I run my own business, this guy needs to be fired and working in a hole by himself somewhere; but not around other people.

Never again will I do business at quik cash pawn, they are very unprofessional and don't care about losing repeat business.. And even give "triggers firearms" which they own, a bad name and is losing my business because of how I was treated and want to just rip people off even if you are a good customer and buy from them all the time.. Never again..

Don't waste your time here. Go over to marks guns and give your business to someone who cares about it. Yeah you might pay a little more but it's worth not having to deal with the jerk cop wanna-bees at this place.

THIS PLACE CAN'T GET ENOUGH NEGATIVE STARS! went there early one morning in hopes of surprising my Fiancé with a gun for her birthday. I waited about 10 mins before anyone decided to help me, and did he help? No! The useless smart a** said your eyes look messed up I can't help you! I tried to explain to the useless POS that I just woke up literally minutes ago, so I could get a gun and get back home before my fiancé new I was gone, but the idiot completely refused to help me ( dont remember his name but he is the bald POS that works there). You really should make sure you know what your talking about before you open your mouth, boy! All in all this place sucks, everyone is an a**, I would pay triple for something than assists these idiots in getting a paycheck!

i have bought several firearms from this location and have been respectively happy with the customer service and especially the price. I recently, however, called in to get a price on a pistol and was kept on hold in excess of 10 minutes. i hung up, called back and tried to introduce myself yet again and explain what i wanted again but was interrupted by an employee who impatiently told me "Yeah, you're gonna have to wait on hold until I have time to help you." wow. when I told him, "You just lost a gun sale." he said "OK" and hung up. at first after being told that, i was satisfied knowing i wouldn't buy that gun there. but after he said "OK" to my statement, I will never go back and will tell everyone i know not to go there. i have bought 2 computers, a tv, 6 guns, and a blue ray player from these people and this is how i get treated?! Wow. i hope this review gets back to the right people. very disappointed in Quick Cash to condone this type of behavior to ANY type of customer. Bud's Gun Shop here I come. Their price was cheaper anyways.

When I started going in to Quick Cash last year it was a pretty good place to shop with good prices. Steadily since then the attitude of the Operator wannabe's behind the counter have gotten worse and worse. It just isn't worth going in there anymore with their poor arrogant attitudes.

And in KY that is not good for them, with Bud's, Kentucky Gun Co, Whitakers, etc all within driving distance, plus I found a FFL holder that does cheap, attitude and drama free transfers. Tell me again why I should put up with your BS!

Spent close to 1500 there at the gun side in last 3 months but after yesterday not sure if id ever go back took in a 500$ rifle looking for trade with over 200$ in accessories. Was offered 250$ with an attitude by a punk with a God complex. Gun has a 120$ scope and he was being a jerk by going off about a 40$ set of iron sights not being on gun. Wanted all the accessories with it but would not come up on price for it. Was told to rent a booth at a gun show to get the 400$ I was asking for. Was told to take it to them cause they were honest people. It felt like I was at Marks guns. Any one who has ever been there knows what I'm talking about. Ill spend the 10 bucks in gas and 3 hours in car to go to BudsGunsShop in Lexington at least there they treat you like what you are. A customer not a burden

I was told about this place from a coworker a few years back now. I can only rate the "gun shop" side of the shop, since I've never actually bought anything off the regular side. They have been great over the years. I do not have a single complaint against them. They have a very knowledgeable staff and will help you with just about anything. I would recommend them to any friend or relative looking to get a good deal on a firearm or firearm related accessory.



With any good shop comes the busy times, and they do get extremely busy. I have patience though because I'm not the only one in the world. I really can't comment on any personal experiences with pawning/selling anything. I can say that I've heard them work with customers many times on a either extending the loan period, or getting a little bit extra for the pawned item. They are a business, so they need to make money in order to stay in business. You can't expect to get a full price for what you paid for a particular item when you sell it to them. They need to have room to make money on it, or else they couldn't stay in business.



If you are looking for a place that has a great selection, professional staff and great prices, this is the place I'd recommend. Since I've started coming here, I've only been to one other shop in the area, and that is just to shoot what I buy from the gun room at Quick Cash.





*On a side note, I was reading some of the negative views on here. Some people really need to check the State and Federal laws before sounding off so loudly.*

Just bought a gun from them on Saturday and all I can say is......This is the only place that I will go from now on! BTW....Thanks for being so patient with me...LOL

If you want a great deal on the most desireable firearms in the market, this is the place! The staff is amazing when it comes to firearm knowledge! I have purchased several guns from them and I always get the answers that I need before purchasing! Thanks quick cash for everything!

My son and I have bought 8 top of the line guns from Quick Cash, various accessories, and got solid advice that was free. I recently built another M-4 with parts purchased from them that were unavailable elsewhere. AR uppers are rare right now, they had one. In all my visits to the store, (and there have been many), I have seen nothing short of an Excellent, Professional Staff. Whether buying or looking you WILL enjoy your experience there.

I am a pretty serious gun collector and have bought and sold a vast amount of things through all of the popular gun web sites over the years. I started buying and selling from the guys at QC, Guns about four years ago and I have since stopped using web sites all together.

They are great people to work with and have the LOWEST!!!!!!! prices anywhere. There is no disputing that, and for the other reviews on this site just consider the source? I have witnessed some of the incidents below and believe me the store or the staff was not to blame!!



This is the only place I go now and I plan to continue this relationship for many years to come!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quick Cash Guns Florence, Terrible Customer Service



I visited Quick Cash Guns in Florence today and I’ll never be back. I walked in a little before four this afternoon. I was the only customer. There were two employees, one stocking the pegboard wall & the other unpacking an Eotech sight at the counter. I walk to the gentleman at the counter, who ignored me will taking the sight out of its box, removing the battery compartment, loading the batteries, replacing the battery compartment. Only then while looking through the sight out to the pawn shop did he ask if he could help me. I asked if they were accepting preorders on the Springfield XDS due to be released next month, (mind you that its only two days till March)? While still looking though the sight & never making eye contact while addressing me, he said “ We can’t take orders on something that doesn’t exist yet.” I said thanks & that I would check back in a few weeks to see if they had any. But while walking out, all I could think is “doesn’t exists yet” not; no we have to wait till it is released to accept an order.



I bough me fist handgun from them 10 years ago, when all they had was a single counter. But after today, they have joined Mark’s Guns as a place I’ll never step foot into again due to terrible customer service. I’ll retell this story to as many as I can and discourage them from doing business there. My money will go to Buds Guns in Lexington.

UNPROFESSIONAL & DON'T DESERVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. I have been visiting QC for months as I have been trying to find a new CCW pistol. The day I went to buy they did not have the caliber I wanted on the model I wanted, so they told me to go online and order it. I ordered the gun and when the distributer said it was delivered I called to confirm & it was there, so I went to get it. Everything was fine up until that point.



While at the store another customer had a pistol that he was looking to sell (which he decided not to sell QC at their low ball price) and I asked if I could see it. The guy behind the counter, knowing I was there to pick up the gun I had spent months selecting, yelled at me (in front of everyone) stating that it was a felony to buy a gun from someone on FFL property (Um, Isn't that where you're supposed to buy guns from people and get them properly transferred?). I assured him I was there to pick up my gun and that I just wanted to look at it, and he told me I needed to leave the property to look at it. I did not agree with him, but I politely walked outside to the sidewalk (beyond the parking lot......which correct me if I'm wrong is public property), to look at the guy's gun. While looking at it, the guy from the gun counter came outside and continued to yell at me that I had to leave the property or it is a felony . As I expected I was not interested in the gun and went inside to complete my transaction ( which I had already made a down payment on online). They then accused me of trying to undercut their business (& continued to treat me like a felon) and refused to sell me the gun. I told them again that I was just looking at what he had and they continued to be rude and would not even discuss it with me. **Please note that I am licensed in KY to carry concealed, so this was not a case that I failed the background check. They just simply refused to let me complete the paperwork. **



They informed me that they were returning my order to the distributer and that I had been blocked in their system from ever buying a firearm from them again. NOT THAT I WOULD WANT TO AT THIS POINT. I already called the distributer and filed a complaint. The GM of QC is getting a call Monday morning, but I doubt he gives a crap being that he probably hired these clowns.



Don't get me wrong they have good prices, but read the other reviews about how they treat people. I'll gladly pay an extra $5-10 to someone who treats people with respect and values my business. THEY DON"T DESERVE MY (OR YOUR) HARD EARNED MONEY. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL, UNAPPRECIATIVE, & UNDESERVING. Join me in taking our business elsewhere.
