I hate going in Walmart as it is, especially since moving down here. One time some boys group was in front taking donation for some boy something - maybe boy scouts - and I gave them some money and they just stared at me like I was some feminist monster and didnt thank me or anything. Then I went in another time and bought some wine and was treated like a devil and the cashier kept insisting it was Sunday when it was Saturday and his boss was really hateful with me, saying it was a 10 minutes too early to buy and I'd have to circle around the parking lot which I did and came back in to buy (I should have gone on way I was treated.). Then today I go in and stock up on some of those big 24 packs of diet cokes - which is the only reason I go into Walmart anymore - and a man was standing in front like they do at Sams and asked to see my receipt but didn't ask for the receipts of the two men customers who exited behind me. That's a 1st in 30 years & thousands of dollars spent at Walmart.
I never write reviews until now! I visited JCP on Wed. 5/1/2013 with my 10 year old daughter. We had just gone to her Dr. Prior for her injured foot (she is in crutches). As soon as we walked in (by the back of the store) a friendly lady (wish I knew her name) right away offered us a wheelchair. Then when we walked in another sweet lady that works in the register asked us if we wanted her to hold the crutches until we were done shopping. Then she said to just take the wheelchair with me, even out of JCP into the mall and take my time, and just turn it in when I was finished shopping. We have never been treated soooooo nice in a department store (of course, other than the super high end department stores in big cities). I was so impressed. Needless to say, I had originally came into JCP to return some jeans and ended up buying a lot more! I will continue to shop there from now on. Just everyone that worked there that day made our day :)
The workers here are very nice and helpful. I would have given 5 stars but this store had carts of stock in the isles like the others that handicap people can't get around. They also seem to be carrying less national brands and more of the DG brands. Some of those products are good and some not so much. But the employees here at least are friendly and helpful and don't seem as lazy as some of the other stores.
Very nice employees. Very helpful with no hassles. I had a problem with some broken merchandise and was afraid it would be a problem to return but the manager believed me that it was broken when I opened it and exchanged it with a smile. I've been back many times and they are always very helpful.
Awesome store grat selection of odd sizes!
