I have been coming to Fox & Co. Salon Spa for haircuts with Harold for over twenty years. Unfortunately, I came in for “partial highlights’ and had my entire head of auburn hair BLEACHED to yellow. I will never forget when Harold took the towel off my head and said there was nothing he could do to fix it! Michael Fox, the owner, attempted to restore my original auburn hair, but after two trials, never got it right. I was told by Anna the co-owner that there would be a credit for the $125 I had paid for the partial highlights, so I trusted them and never formerly asked them to put the credit back on my card. I waited months for my hair to get healthy again, but my hair is still too damaged from all their processing, to get partial highlights anytime soon, if ever. So, on 7/25/18 I asked for my credit refund and Michael refused to give me back my money, stating that he used “my $125” for the products and time it took to fix my hair! He even said that if I would have taken Anna’s offer of refund at that time that he would not have fixed Harold’s mistake and let me leave with a bleached head of hair! This is not how reputable salons do business. Fox & Co. Salon Spa made a grossly obnoxious error and they were obligated to restore my hair color. I paid $125 for a “service” of partial highlights and walked out of that salon without that service, very damaged hair and lost a color that I loved. I am writing this review because at this point, it isn’t even about the money anymore, it’s about how poorly they handled my asking for a refund on a service I never received. This was a no-brainer, Fox & Co Salon Spa made a gross mistake to my hair and should have given me my money back, BUT in the end they showed their true “colors”…FOX & CO SALON SPA REALLY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS.
