0 communication, and they will still cut off your water almost 24 hours after you are current on your bill, never calling with a cut-off warning message, or a paper warning... nothing. The place resembles a prison in more ways than one.

This is the worst utility company I have ever did business with. Rude and uncaring employees. Never seen anything like it. If I could had rated it as a -1, I would had

The worst company I've ever had to deal with in my life! It blows my mind how horrible the staff treats people & how the staff feels that it's ok. Plus they refuse to help me figure out why my bill has been $200/month the last 3 months w/a usage over 23,000 gal/month when for 5 yrs my bill was around $65/month w/a usage of only around 8,000 gal/month. We've done everything poss on our end to make sure there's not a reason for this change but the office staff won't even ask someone to come out & make sure my meter's working properly. Oh and the consistently absent general manager. To speak to the GM you have to call his cell phone & hope he'll call you back or answer. If you do get to talk to him you'll find he's rude & even mean & will tell you that there's nothing he can do no matter what the issue. A problem like mine/you need one extra day to pay your bill/or need an answer to a question. He'll tell you take ur issue to board meeting. He's a board member! More issues out of space.

Unlike the other complainers, I know that YOU KNOW you have a payment due, if you get no bill YOU CALL THEM ! No, my issue is with whatever has happened to the water, itself, since last year. Water in this area is a .5-3.5 particles per gallon. That has changed in the last year. 10 years, no issue. This year, scale in every line. .5 to 3.5 DOES NOT cause scale build up. You need 7 and up to see a significant build up that requires a softener. So, while you HAVE TO HAVE water, know ahead of time, until they FIX whatever changes they made, you will eventually need a water softener device or cause damage to your fixtures, leaks as buildup works between gaskets and fittings and WATER HEATER tank swelling.

Walker County Water & Sewerage on Happy Valley Rd. Flintstone, GA is the WORST company in the world to do business with. They have not sent me a bill in 2 months and on top of that they are liars and thieves. They send me NO bill, NO phone call so I call them and they say I have until this date to pay bill then turn around and cut off my water before that date then lied and said they didn't tell me I had until that date, lied and said they called then charge me $60 extra to turn water back on. This company is a rip off. I'm going to print my phone record to prove they didn't call me like they lied and said. I'm only giving a star because it makes you this place doesn't deserve any stars at all.

Horrible service!

I am SO TIRED of this company. Our water is turned off every single month because we don't receive a bill or phone call. The people that work there have absolutely no customer service what so ever. I am fined over $60 a month because they can't get their act together. Absolute BS!

Seriously?? I've lived here almost 6 months, and this is the 2nd time the water has gone out in my neighborhood. And you can't get in touch with ANYONE when you call to find out what is going on. And the reviews below me are correct, you get the bill, have about a week to MAIL it in, or pay a $3.00 charge to pay online, or you get hit with late fees. This company really needs to get with the times...

10/30/12 And the water is not working in my neighborhood... AGAIN.

These folks need to be dragged...

These folks need to be dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st Century. A county with 68,000 residents and when (not if) your water goes out on Saturday there's nobody to answer the phone, just a recording telling you to call another number. That number - no answer and voice mail is full. Yet another reason I'm looking for a home somewhere besides Walker County.

Likew living in a third world counrty

I mean like really, you have to either mail or come to the office and pay your bill?! This is the only major bill that I have to pay like that! AND the water goes out AT LEAST 1 time a quarter if not once a month!

ups and downs

I have very little problems with the water company. I live a couple of miles behind it. I also have had problems with a price variation regarding my bill. But I thought it had to do with the way the contractor had read the meters, This has been a problem in the past. I believe they have changed the contractors, my bill has been fairly average for the past year or so. I have thought about reading it myself but I never catch the meter reader as they stop. Sometimes I dought they even read my meter. I too wish I could pay on line. But I'm one that don't want to get too dependent on the internet. If the internet world crashes , how would we pay our bills without paperwork ? Myself, I would like to keep the older ways on the back burner.
