        About Search Results

YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

        Tips & Advice

How can you find healthy food options at a restaurant?

There are many ways to find and select healthy food options at restaurants. Many menus will clearly identify healthier options, but most are going to be common-sense decisions. Avoid heavy, fatty, fried, or sugary foods, and maybe ask for creamy sauces and salad dressings to be served on the side. Lighter foods, like salads or vegetable dishes, are typically healthy options (depending on what is in them). Talk to your server for healthy options on or off the menu.

Do all restaurants offer specialty food options, like vegan and gluten free?

No, all restaurants do not offer specialty food options. However, as people become more health conscious, many restaurants adapt their menu to accommodate more requests and healthier choices, like gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options. No place is required to have those options; it’s really a business decision on the restaurant’s part. Know your options before going in to ensure you have the best possible selection and experience.

Is it generally acceptable to make substitutions when ordering?

This is always a tricky situation. Yes, you can usually make substitutions (unless noted otherwise), within reason. If you have food allergies, talk to your server to get clarity on safe menu items, but don’t be that person that takes 20 minutes to order with 50 questions. Want mashed potatoes instead of salad? No sauce or extra sauce? Need gluten-free options? Of course these are reasonable requests, so make those within reason. Some restaurants will accommodate off-menu items, so ask about those, too.

How to select the right restaurant to fit the occasion

To select the right restaurant for your event , start with the occasion and number of guests and a budget. Having 25 guests will eliminate some places right away, while others might even have party rooms available. Or are you looking for a quiet romantic spot to propose (or break up!)? That will eliminate places geared toward kids and families. You can find any and all options by going online. Make sure to plan as far ahead as possible so you can get a reservation. Some places can be very hard to get into, especially if you have a large party or need special accommodations.

How should you make a wine selection?

You can ask your server or sommelier (the staff wine expert) for recommendations.  If you want to be fancy, and who doesn’t, you can pair your wine with your meal. Traditionally, lighter wines like roses or chardonnays pair with lighter fare, like fish or vegetable dishes; and darker reds, like cabernet or merlot, pair with heavier dishes like steaks or chops. The truth is that the right wine for you or your meal is the one you like best. Just don’t put ice in your wine glass, that’s just not cool.

What is the proper amount to tip a server at a restaurant?

Traditionally, in the United States, it has been customary to tip 15 percent for good service and 20 percent  for really good service. Of course if the service is awful, you have the option of leaving nothing at all. At most restaurants, tipping is not part of your dining obligation and, therefore, you are free to tip whatever amount you like. Some restaurants factor the tip into the actual bill, especially if you have a large party. Tipping isn’t typically done in many other countries, so know the local customs.

Are there immunization requirements for kindergarten?

All states have a minimum set of immunization requirements to attend any public schools, beginning with kindergarten. All states require a minimum of vaccines for diphtheria, tetanus, polio, measles and rubella, with 49 states also requiring immunization for mumps. Chicken pox and hepatitis vaccines are also required by most states prior to entering kindergarten. Each state has their own laws, so be sure to educate yourself on your state’s requirements. Some schools might have additional requirements.

Are children required to go to preschool?

There are no states that require preschool. Most states only require that kids begin some kind of formal schooling by the age of 6 (some by the age of 7). While preschool isn’t necessary, it can be a good tool to begin your child’s development in preparation for kindergarten or first grade. It can also be necessary for working parents who need child care so they can work. Preschool is an option, not a legal requirement.

Are there standards for what children learn in preschool?

States and even local communities set their own requirements for preschool, but most of the curriculum is based on developing fundamental skills for the big move to kindergarten. Learning the alphabet, basic shapes and colors, numbers and counting, and social skills all combine to form the foundation for the basic growth skills necessary to prepare your child for kindergarten.

What is the difference between transitional kindergarten and regular kindergarten?

Transitional kindergarten, or TK as it's known, is an academic program that bridges the gap between kindergarten and preschool. Most states and schools require kids to be at least 5 years-old by a certain date to qualify for kindergarten that academic year. If your child is too young;barely missed the minimum age requirement date; or you feel they may not be quite ready academically, physically or socially to take on kindergarten, consider the TK option. TK classes build on the skills learned and developed in preschool in preparing your child for kindergarten or first grade.  Your child, depending on their age, can even go right from TK into first grade, if that is the right path for them. Many public schools have TK available for children born in certain timeframe; for kids who aren’t, there are private TK options. It's important to understand that schools and curriculum can vary widely between districts and between public and private schools. Educate yourself on schools in your area to understand your options.

Since I have been dealing with Myrtle Grove mobile home park I have found the following......The maintenance don't know what they are doing, the mobile home I live in every time it rains the extension leaks and all they do is wait for it to dry after raining and put a little tar up there, but yet after a dozen times doing the same thing my roof still leaks!!!You can tell the management Mara Johnson and the maintenance guy Aaron Johnson and of course the supposed to be the owner of the mobile home park Steve Ramirez that something is wrong and it needs to be fixed, he will tell you a time that someone will be over to fix it in or at a certain time but that times never comes unless you threaten to not pay rent, these people will use a scare tacit of a 7 day when your not even behind, they will tell you to avoid court proceedings that you may wanna pay. This place is not somewhere you wanna live, they are slumlords they do not like to fix things, you never know if you walking into something that has electrical problems, plumbing problems, you name it you could face it. They keep pulling mobile homes in that has problems on top of not fixing the ones that do have problems they already have. I do not recommend this place as somewhere to reside. There is so much wrong with the place and the present people here. Please do your research before considering this place.

New management about every 6 months. Rarely is anyone in the office during the day. They require people who live here to maintain their houses, power wash each year but more than half the homes are vacant. Many are almost 50 years old and they are not maintained by management except to occasionally mow the overgrown lawns. They will trip all over themselves to be helpful to potential new tenants, but once you move in, good luck getting any kind of service from management. And another increase to rent again this year - this time an 8% increase. Definitely not worth it. With the extra revenue, they should now be able to repair the nice sign out front instead of keeping it covered up with the cheap vinyl one. Or trim some overgrown trees or remove dead trees before they damage houses or kill someone? The overgrown trees do quiet down the trains that go back and forth to GM all day long. They don't help with the 6 a.m. planes though.I am currently looking to move out. You can live cheaper in a regular stick built home within just a couple of miles of here. Why deal with the absent and ever changing management here?

Before we moved in we asked what was wrong with the house we were told “nothing the house is move in ready”. Furthermore they said that if we did notice things that were wrong they would take care of them. The mold was so bad in some spots we have already gone through 10 gallons of kilz paint trying to keep my family from getting sick. We are almost positive that under the floors is molded bad because that is just about all you can smell on hot days. The floors are also so rotted in some spots that we are afraid they will fall through. Around the toilet in the master bedroom is so weak that the toilet wobles almost like the wax ring leaked at one point and the floor was never addressed. The floor by our main entry door is rotted right through on one side as if the door leaked and the floor again was never addressed. In the area where the washer and dryer go the floor is so bad we dont even want to hook up our washer because we are afraid it will fall through during the first spin cycle. The secondary entrance door is in the laundry area and it leaks every time it rains. The heat ducts are not hooked up correctly through the whole house. The responce from the managers about the floors at first was that our kids jumped and caused the holes and weak spots now they have shifted the blame of jumping from our children to my fiance in my opinion because she is over weight. Yeah you read that right they told my over weight fiance that she jumped and caused the problems to the floors. Now they are telling us that we bought the house as is and basically told us sorry about our luck. Still need more kilz paint because we are starting to have health issues from this houseTried to post this to Google for over a month it has never been publicly available

This is a joke! These pictures aren't even from this park! Pool is never open because they can't afford a lifeguard, they "playground" is two swings and a very old merry-go-round and two teter totter's. Management sits on there butts and chain smokes in the building! They let a cat roam inside the building also.

I am currently a resident. Renting for almost a year now. They are shutting the water off on all of the tenants on June 6th due to them not paying the water. They are currently in debt thousands of dollars only have made one payment for the water since 2015 but still collecting water payments from all of us tenants. Stealing our money. We are on the verge of being closed down. sad :( We are going to lose our homes. We all had no warnings. We have all been scammed. They should all be put into jail.
