I had windows installed in 2008 that the seal started to go back within two years. We had Paramount come out once and do warranty work and at the time they informed us ALL windows installed in 2008 were bad as they had a problem with the manufacturer. After admitting this, they promptly began ignoring all contacts from me to get the rest of the windows in my home warrantied. TOM PANEK has been ignoring me for almost 3 years, although at once point he contacted me and said he would pay for the glass since the manufacturer went out of business. The he turned around and told me three days later my windows repairs, which should be covered under warranty, would be $125 EACH WINDOW for the repairs, PLUS labor and trip charge. TOM PANEK won't stand behind his product and he won't treat you with respect. You will waste your money and be treated poorly by this company. They use paperwork that shows a BBB accreditation, but they have been requested to remove the logo and ignored the BBB.
Had a 4 season room added. Roof leak, they returned said nothing wrong. Hired a pro who fixed their issue. Windows leaked, they fixed two, said they'll fix the others when they go out because they have a known problem. The other's went bad, they said their out of warranty, $140 to come out to estimate and full price to fix.
I have had Paramount work on my home multiple times since I bought it. They have replaced my windows, roofing, and siding, making sure I had the best deal, the best crews working on my home, and the best products installed each time. To this day nothing I've had installed from them has broken, leaked, or warped. The crews were impeccable, clean, polite, and easy to work with.

I am in the rental property business and have purchased many replacement windows. I have no patience with smarmy salesmen, liars and shoddy workmanship. From the sales rep to the final installation, the entire process with Paramount was flawless. Everyone was professional and the quality is superior to other replacement windows I've purchased from other companies. My tenant is thrilled with the new windows and so am I. I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend this company! Keep up the good work guys!

I am the owner of a rental property company and have purchased many replacement windows. My experience with Paramount Improvements was perfect from start to finish.
The sales rep was a pleasure to deal with - very informative and not at all pushy.
The installation supervisor and crew were punctual, clean, polite and professional.
Best of all - the windows are great and so was the price!
I would not hesitate to do business with Paramount again.

Paramount Improvements installed windows and a roof on my old house and I was very pleased. The windows cut my energy cost plus the outside noise more than I ever imagined. Having both projects done not only increased the value of my home , it made selling it much easier. In my current house I had installed 11 windows, siding and a sunroom, and I was extremely happy this time around. The friendliness from the all departments from start to finish was very outstanding and very professional. I have recommended several of my neighbors to them and they are very satisfied also. Plus it's nice to know that they have been around for 20 years and with their workmanship and quality products, I have no doubt will be around for many, many years to come. Thanks again Paramount and I will continue recommending you to anyone that is in need of home improvements!

I had paramount install the top line heritage windows about 6 years ago. I have been very happy with the appearence, durability, service and energy efficiencey.
I had an stress crack appear several months after the install and Paramount was quick to repair the problem.
Understand, I am able to this work myself. So I am more critical than the average consumer. They have also helped me with a problem at another home just for customer relations. I have no idea what the complaints are on this site. The salesman was knowlegable and profesional-not high pressue like Magic WIndows-wanted twice as much! The installers were contracters. The leader was excellent. They worked until dark. Not your uniform company logo employees. This is typical of contracters. I am calling to have them do another home!

I am the owner of Paramount and have been since I started the business in 1990. Since the start up, we have installed over 32000 jobs including doors, windows, siding, patio rooms, kitchens and bathrooms. In that time I have had a few complaints but very few.
I admit that we sometimes make a mistake but when we do, I encourage a customer to call me personally and allow me a chance to fix it. I may even come out personally in order to make a customer satisfied. If a customer e mails me or calls, i always try to see them and talk to them to make sure they are satisfied.
I do not believe it is fair to say bad things about a person without allowing a chance to correct a mistake. I also do not think it is fair to allow a competitor to use a web site like this to make up a story about anyone. the site should check all info to make sure it is truthful before publishing it.
I encourage anyone who has a complaint to call me and let me see what I can do to correct any problems. If I do make you satisfied, i hope that you will add the comments as easily as you have added the complaint
From all of us at Paramount Improvements, we thank the 32000 customers we have and we ask the few who have complaints to call us and let us correct it

-They contract below standard workers that cant speak english. No Foreman or manager in charge on site.
-Their workers or contractors urinated on the job site.
-Took quadruple the estimated time to complete.
-Misquoted by an additional $4000.00
-Agreement was for final payment to be made upon work completion but demanded payment halfway through the job.
-Warranty is completely under question because I have been waiting a little over a month for them to come back to correct some problems.
-I cannot say anything good about this company and would never ever do business with them. I will relay my experience with this company by name for the rest of my life.
-if I do not have my issues resolved immediately my next step is to report them to the BBB which they so proudly mention they belong to when they pitched the sale. I've been in a bunch of business dealings and I have never reported anyone to the BBB. This could be a first.

We had windows put in our house back in 1991 and we had a excellent sales person, customer service, and the instulation went off without a hitch, we had no work after they completed the job. The windows looked great and we have not had a problem with them.
We since have purchased a new home and have hired Paramount to do the work again. I would recommend them to anyone.

Like everybody else I can say that it was a very unpleasant experience. I stopped it in time. I hope I will get my security deposit back.
The sale person came, made a multitude of promises and when I had issues or questions he could not be found. What they promised I will get and what they were going to give me was a totally different product. In order to give me what they have promised it was going to cost me another $4,000.00.
Please stay away from these people if you do not want big headaches.

This is the most unprofessional organization I have come across. They will do anything they can to take advantage of you. The salesperson purposedly wrote down the wrong windows. I discovered it after signing and I got him to send me an amendment. They then delivered the wrong windows. Patriot instead of Series II. The Store Manager offered me a deal to take the wrong windows. I did for $1,000 less. They then charged me the original cost and are sticking to it after the manager quit. I have spent 3 weeks trying to get this straightened out. Four different people have told me they would call me back and none of them have. Be ready to have the struggle of your life working with these people. And bring an attorney!

This was the worst experience I have ever had. I have dealt with contractors on several occassions and I would not reccomend this one to my worst enemy. They have no concern for the customer or their needs. They do not stand behind their warrenties or their workmanship. They hire subcontractors that are not licensed and have no concern for the property owners personal property. They want to finish what they were hired for and collect their money. And by finish I do not mean finish correctly. Once they are paid they have no concern for a customers satisfaction. Why this company does not have any further complaints is beyond me. If you do some research you will see where they have changed their name several times and also have several businesses which seem to be hiding the facts of their labor. If you decide to hire this company besure to have their work doubled checked. You may be surprised as to what is found but another person you trust. If you plan on them replacing your windows be sure to look at the complete window before deciding not just the samples that the salesperson shows. The samples are very misleading. Also do not give in to their high pressure sale speach. There is a reason they want you to sign a contract before having a chance to do your homework. The people which they have ""working"" for them don't even know what work is. They show up when they feel like and leave when they have had enough for the day. If you sign a contract with them besure to have an end date stated on the contract. Also be sure they spell out what days and times they plan on being on the job site. They try to find any loop hole they can and they prey on the home owner that has no knowledge, so be sure to educate yourself before hiring. They do have a little and very little knowledge about the work they preform. In my opinion this company would be better to be avoided. If you want the job done correct and you to be satsified look for another contractor.
