Purchased a new to me used vehicle from Joel’s recently. Found the vehicle on Cars.com for what appeared to be a great price. Buyers beware!!! If my experience is any indication the great prices are too good to be true. After owning the car for 3 weeks I’ve been able to drive it for 5 days only. It’s been to the shop twice for two separate unrelated issues. Total cost of repairs is in excess of $3,500.00! The first and most costly repair occurred 3 days after purchase. I called Joel’s to ask for assistance numerous times and was told they would review my mechanic’s quote. I’m still waiting for a return phone call...In addition, I still need new tires which I knew when I purchased the vehicle. When this is all said and done I will have spent more than I could have purchased a certified preowned unit (newer, lower miles) for from my local dealer. Save yourself the drive to flushing and the headaches and skip the “great deal” at Joel’s.
I attempted to purchase a vehicle from their selection via Facebook. The representative was obviously unprofessional and continuously changed the information regarding the car (i.e. Year, mileage etc.). They refused to let me take it to my personal mechanic, but offered to take it to AutoZone. It goes without saying that I will no longer be seeking their services.
"mechanically sound" Don't trust these scammers. Definitely learned my lesson about buying a vehicle without someone I trust there with me. All the "repairs" they did almost made things worse. Hopefully they go out of business soon.
This place is Junk!!! I bought a car from here. Its had nothing but problems. I was in a hurry so i didn't to a thorough inspection and they took full advantage of that. Found out it was in an accident, (I requested an accident report, they claimed they didn't have one), found out it had rusty transmission coolant lines, a bad O2 sensor, and loose rear shackles, the lines were corroded so bad i had to have an external cooler put in, in front of the radiator!!! $450 in repairs before my first car payment!!!! I will NEVER step another foot in this place as long as i live. I hope you don't either. YOU WILL REGRET IT
i bought a truck from them and the transmission went out the next day. I called and they told me it wasn't their problem since the truck was sold as-is. about a week later when it rained, i came to find out that there is a leak in the windshield, which they never told me about. Diversified auto will scam you. I would NOT recommend anyone buying a vehicle from diversified auto.
Bought a 2006 Impala LTZ from here. Although the salesman Lawerence sold us a nice car and knocked off a little from the price, he failed to mention the broke front right wheel bearing and/or fix it himself. Was luckily done by a local well known mechanic for $246. Check your vehicles out that are bought from here, get it put on a hoist and examined.
Bought a 2010 ram from joels. Was assured that it was 100% ready to go. Started it up the next morning and the motor was making noise. Took it to 4 different mechanics all said the motor is bad. Called joels talked with a sales rep, he went to bat for me however 'joel' will not give me ANY help! So I am stuck with a $4,000 repair bill. Be aware! I will tell anyone that is looking for a car to avoid joels like the water in flint.
Terrible sales terrible customer service they r cheating not honest in sales then they dont care about customer service even if they agreed to return the part they dont refund your money .he is trying to change name every while .BEWARE FROM "OLYMPIC AUTO" OR "IQ AUTOMOTIVE" OR "THE HEADLIGHT DEPOT" THESE NAMES FOR THE SAME COMPANY THE SAME CHEATER AND LIER
Terrible customer service. Sold fake LED drivers to me for lights. Refused to take items back. BUYERS BEWARE OF FAKE ITEMS/BROKEN GLUED ITEMS SOLD AS NEW.
I think this is the worse place to buy a car from they knew that I was coming to make my payment that day and they sent there guys out to repo it amd then wanted to charge me $300 for driving it 3 miles its the worst experience ive ever had
