I was looking to buy a new Acura and I didn't feel comfortable with the salesman. I had the feeling I was being conned. Came home and googled him. First thing that came up was his long rap sheet. He had spent 12 years in prison for a variety of offenses including robbery and assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill! Has been out of prison for 2 years. Not the person I was going to trust with a major purchase. I just bought my new Acura from Bradshaw Acura in Greenville SC. Very professional.
When the service tech say's """"Ohhhhh you didn't buy the car from us...." and then proceeds to make you feel pretty sure that he doesn't want your business. I love my Honda but right now I am hating the Honda dealer. Since when is it ok to tell the customer you do it our way or so sorry out of luck? I am pretty sure that isn't how the Honda brand got to be where it is. My phone call ended with me saying I would find someone else to do the work and he said ok.

The door lock on the driver's side of my Civic wouldn't work and I took it in to be looked at. After making an appointment for 11am, I brought it in only to be told that after 12 noon, the service techs would go to lunch and my car wouldn't be looked at until after 1pm. If they had told me that while making the appt, I would have arranged transportation to take me somewhere else while I waited.
Meanwhile, the service dept went ahead and replaced the lock without telling me first what the exact problem was and what the cost would be as they said they would. The lock was fixed fine, but I would have appreciated a courtesy call on what the charge might be.
Basically it took over 4 hours to fix a minor repair. Poor communication and poor customer service is the main reason I will not return to this dealership.
I bought a pre-owned Acura from them, Dustin helped us he was good to work with. I was happy with our purchase and experience. And I recently had a new engine installed at their service department, my experience so far has been satisfactory. I would rate Apple tree a B-
Once the sales contract is signed and they have your money, AppleTree Honda will not know who you are! Our title transfer paperwork arrived late and incorrect. We were promised overnight delivery of corrected paperwork, but no one followed through and we did not receive it until four days later after requesting it a second time. Also, we did not receive our warranty contract as promised, and the staff at AppleTree has not even given us the courtesy of return phone calls. Even the "Customer Satisfaction Manager" has been no help. Find a car to purchase somewhere else!
