The food was disgusting, undercooked and overcooked. My wife ordered the filet Hibachi dinner medium rare, it came out medium to well. I order Gyoza appetizer (it came out stuck together and undercooked) obviously it was frozen and quickly prepared. My Yaki Soba dinner was so salty I spit it out immediately and my wife could not eat it either. The waiter was friendly and felt bad (i just paid and sent my food back) and asked the manager to refund my plate. The manager gave me a 50% discount on my plate which i thought was inappropriate. The waiter then had to go back and ask the manager to come out to the table. The manager had the attitude he was doing me a favor by giving me a 50% discount on plate and i had to discuss with him for 5 minutes how it should be at least a full refund of my plate. He then relented which I left the refund for the waiter as he was the only good thing about the place. DO NOT GO THERE if you want real Japanese food or service as it is not authentic.
I'm frustrated with my bill tonight. Last time we went for half off sushi the server told us a few minutes early to order wouldn't be a problem because they get pretty busy. So tonight I ordered five minutes early as we did last time. After waiting over 15
Mins for my sushi which didn't bother me now making it well past the 8:30 mark. I was then charged full price. I guess I just don't understand why the waitress wouldn't say something. Guess I should have just waited the 5 mins like I intended. It will be along while before we visit here again.
Always a nice place for a special occasion. The show at the grill is worth it. Service is usually good, but if you have a small party, you may have to wait until they fill the table.
Only wish is, that they had a horseradish sauce for the steak.

Provided by Citysearch -A bit mixed feelings here. Been here in the past, and the sushi was simply not fresh enough to make me comfortable. The service was average. But recently, Ive been sitting at the bar, and the chef that makes my sushi has done a wonderful surprising job. The wait staff is still bad, and rarely visit, because they are too busy with the hibachi area. The place seems to do quite well on the weekends, as the hibachi is packed. I reocmmen sitting at the bar so you can see which fish is fresh that day. dont order blindly. I would choose this over Japan west anyday now that the sushi quality has gotten better. Prices are still a little high, but again, you wont find much options in this town.
