We have lived in Ferndale for 11 years and order pizza with a fair amount of regularity. Every once in a while there is a mistake with a pizza (no big deal, it happens) and Dominos has always been good about correcting it. However, I ordered two pizzas for my kids Sunday evening and one of the pizzas was missing half of the toppings. So I called, and the man I spoke to said they would make us the correct one and pick up the incorrect one from us in 20-30 minutes. About 5 minutes later, the kid calls me back and says that the manager HIMSELF took the order and was positive I said Salami and roasted peppers NOT salami and roasted veggies (even though I was looking at the menu as I ordered) so therefore they would not bring me a new pizza. So I just paid $32 plus tip for two pizzas one of which was incorrect. Then the kid offers to credit me for my next pizza? I don't want credit for my next pizza, I want the pizza I ordered and what is the difference? Either way it is a free pizza right? I was so irritated by this extreme lack of customer service that I simply told the kid, no thanks, next time we will order from somewhere else. I cannot believe that this guy couldn't fathom that he possibly made a mistake and is willing to lose business over it. There are three other pizza places within half a mile of this domino's and you can be assured that those are the only ones my family will be ordering our pizza at from now on. So unless you want crappy customer service I suggest you do the same.
