lived there for 4 months and had to leave. there were very few "shady" looking tenants. most we got along with and made friends. very low crime. quiet place to live. however after 4 months, none of the issues had been taken care of, and everyone in the office that we had made a complaint to had either quit or been fired. they also took the keys to our apartment because "they couldnt find their copy" and then never returned us ours. the cameras located at the top of the office building and in the laundry room are fake. fake enough that another tenant proved it to us by taking it off the wall to show nothing was there. the tenants above us made so much noise that our ceiling fans couldnt be turned on high anymore because they would shake so bad the lights would unscrew from the fixtures. our apartment was a brand new remodel when we got it. we were told everything was new. our air conditioner didnt work when we got there. then when they fixed it it started leaking in our hallway so bad that our drop tiles broke in the ceiling and water steadily dripped on the floor. then they came out and fixed the a/c except now instead of leaking down onto the floor it leaks down our kitchen wall.. our kitchen wall is now bubbling, peeling off in spots, has visible water damage that has just been painted over, we have mold growing down and across our walls, our ceiling in our kitchen is coming down from water damage coming from upstairs. we have 2 buckets to catch all the water from upstairs. our walls in other rooms are cracking and splitting, we have mold growth in our hallway closet, our entire apartment smells of mildew.. we have left. we ended our lease, we were on a month to month thank god however they still took our deposit and the property manager (debbie) told me over the phone when i tried to discuss these issues with her " you young kids always want to try to use this as a way not to pay your bills" ... i can assure you that we are not children, this is not the first time renting, nor will it be the last, and i guess she never looked to see how old us "young kids" actually were. just because we are not in our 60's doesnt mean we just turned 18. she also assumed we had too much credit card debt and said thats why we were leaving. well my credit score is fine and i dont need a reference from this place. we have invited any tenant we could find to come in and look and our apartment so that they know what to look for. we have also invited the manager to come and look for herself but she has declined until the inspection. the property owner is a foreign man and he is VERY NICE. he was trying to get us to stay, and work with us, however this has made us sick to the point we had to see a doctor, who advised us to leave. the property manager is who we had a problem with. not the office employees or maintenance. it was just the manager who turned this whole situation into a big ordeal. i have documented pictures and videos of everything that has happened in this apartment ever since the property manager made the "you young kids" statement. which im pretty sure is illegal. i have spoken with the office employees to see if i need to bring my lawyer into this but they have borderline begged me not to. like i said the owner of this property is a very nice man who seems to have good intentions and wanted to fix our issues with us however they couldnt be completed within a timely manner so we left. it was when we wanted to move from our month to month lease that this all became an issue because all they could do is take our deposit, not get back rent since we werent on a lease.

It seems that the new owners and the new management team are focused on making this small Gravoispoint community a beter living environment.
The improvements are noticable all around the complex and the interior of the apartments.
The apartment complex is few miles from Gravois Bluffs. You do not have to travel far to find any thing you need. the management team always on stand by to make your home as comfortable as possible.

New owner and new Management company for Gravois Point, great improvements.
In the last few month we have noticed great changes around the complex, flower arrangements, new painted laundry room with new lighting ,new lighting around the complex and the complex in general look clean. We noticed new tiles floors , new carpets and new appliances in the vacant apartment .
Great location, every thing you need is about three miles away at the Gravois Bluffs ,including restaurants ,medical and professional service offices and a 12-screen stadium-seating movie theater. This complex is also in the Fox school system. Nearby is George Winter Park, a 125-acre park along the Meramec River which is part of the St. Louis County Park systym, another nearby park is Fenton City Park.
Living in this complex is like living in the country with a lot of land and trees. Come and see for your self .

The apartments are under new management - they fill work orders quickly; friendly; they want to help you make it your home; responsible. The community all know each other and look out for each other. They don't tolerate rift-raft. They have laundry room on premises which is kept clean. They do have the usual community rules to insure everyone has a safe place to live and respect each other's space. For my budget, it works for me.
Funny how every one of the reviews on here is from a former tenant who is angry with the management because of what they believe is something unfair. The latest review for instance is from a tenant who is bitter because they didn't get their security deposit back in accordance with the lease they signed. They signed it, they occupied it, they agreed to a legally binding contract and then after ruining carpet (not dirtying it) they expected to be able to break their lease AND get their deposit back even though in the lease it stated that if you leave before your lease is up that you owe 2 months rent. Anyone that looks at these please realize that these are people at a large apartment complex that took the time over the last couple of years to complain because they did not live up to their end of the agreement. WE TREAT EVERY PAYING TENANT LIKE GOLD. WE APPRECIATE THEM MORE THAN ANY OTHER COMPLEX IN THE AREA AND TAKE CARE OF ANY ISSUE THEY HAVE IMMEDIATELY. Talk to any Jefferson county officer and ask them if Gravois Point is a drug lab or if it has a lot of violence problems. THEY ALL WILL TELL YOU IT IS SAFE AND NOT A PROBLEM APARTMENT COMPLEX. Check with the police and you will see. Don't just take these ridiculous and stupid accusations based on face value. Check them out for yourself and you will find a nice complex at a very fair price.

The following is just my opinion and my experience: Unfortunately rents are high everywhere so the move-in specials, no deposit offers are appealing but do not be deceived. During the time I lived at this complex I witnessed more than I ever expected. The police are at this complex regularly due to domestic violence, fighting and other unsavory behavior. If you have children, this could be a dangerous place. Since there are tenants with questionable character, beware. I was told by others about child abuse, illegal substances, mold. The police have responded to wandering toddlers more than once. One of the managers told me that there were needles found at the school bus stop area and a meth lab that was shut down in or near one of the buildings. Of course, this is hearsay so feel free to judge for yourself. I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt because the latest manager and the mainainace people were always very nice to me. Now that I have gone, my security deposit was not returned because the apartment needed painted and the carpet needed cleaned. One would assume, that is routinely done but apparently it is done not on their dime. Most of the residents move at night and on weekends, leaving horrible messes but it appears there is no value in painstakingly cleaning and spackling either. Keep looking.

I have lived here for 2 years. Just like every other apartment complex they have there ups and downs. The manager is ok. She gets to the work orders and repairs fairly good. If you want a higher end apartment complex then go pay a grand in west county. This one is nice as you are gonna find at this price. It has a good location near the bluffs shopping center and at highway 30 and 141. I recommend it.
This apartment complex is horrible! The owner does not take care of it or their tenants. Their is a lot of crime and forget about getting maintenace problems taken care of.The place is known to have roaches and the outside is very dirty.
Don't just assume these people are correct. Take a look for yourself. Realize that most of these are former tenants that are angry with the complex and want to get back at us by posting bad reviews. Come and see for yourself and you will see they are all incorrect.

I agree totally! This place is beyond bad. Live here only if you like to worry about you belongings, family, and want to be embarressed anytime someone askes for your address. This place is great if you enjoy all the comforts of prison. The property manager really doesn't have any idea what she is doing. I agree that everyone should stay away from this complex.
