The idiot lady in the Garden Center wouldn't sell a face protector and pellets for airsoft to our son. Okay, fine. THEN SHE REFUSED TO SELL IT TO ME OR MY WIFE She thinks It's illegal - Said it'd be a 3rd party sale. She doesn't know what the hell she is talking about, and now my son is late for an airsoft game with friends (Supervised by adults, BTW).This is so typical of the Nanny State; mentality - people who know nothing want to tell others what they can and cannot do. If I want to allow my son to play airsoft, that is none of the sales clerk's business. If I'd had more time I would have called for a manager, but we were trying to get what he needed at the last minute.I wonder if she feels really smart now that my son may have to use safety glasses from my workshop instead of a full face protector. This is what happens when small minded people are given too much authority - they think they know how everyone should run their lives. It's time for Walmart to train employees and make sure they know that parents can buy airsoft, paintball, and even actual firearms ammo for their kids to use under proper supervision - and that parents have a right to raise their own children.
