Sweeney's Painting

Stay away! I trusted Mr. Sweeney to paint my house without looking at the end result as I was moving quick. He assured me he would inspect the whole process. The end result was streaks on every wall, paint on my cabinets and on my carpets. I contacted my Sweeney who admitted he did not see the finished result because "his guys said it was good." He said he had a family emergency but would personal take care of it. That was a week ago with no response. I had to hire another painter to come and complete his job after I paid Mr. Sweeney $1000. They said he watered down his paint so when they tried to paint over it, even with paint plus primer, it was still coming out with streaks. I'm extremely disappointed. I come from a place where a hand shake should suffice and I clearly got taken advantage of. I shouldn't have mentioned to him that I was in the Military. Many of my fellow soldiers told me after the fact that a lot of companies in fayetteville/raeford area have ripped them off knowing that PCSing soldiers many times don't have the time to spend to fix the situation. I wish 0 stars was an available rating.

Excellent work! Very fast and efficient! The owner John Sweeney was very courteous and made dry effort to accommodate our tastes & desires!Also...very fast...definitely blown away by the way the job was tackled head on and finished so quickly! The cost was definitely below the standard prices & he went out of his way to help cut our expenses! Hired for one room to start & since have used for several other jobs!
