Do not use this company! They have been extremely rude and are conartist! I had to spend money on the house for repairs and still did not pass move out inspection. I've worked with other property management companies, but by far this is the worst one! Do not get scammed by these people!

If it were possible to give a 0 rating, I would. In general, I like to be unbiased when reviewing a company since many people are involved in the overall maintenance of a home. However, at every level First Class Property Management has been unprofessional and uncooperative.

We rented a home from 05/2014-07/2015. As we are large dog owners, our options were limited. We decided to rent a home that had been unoccupied since 01/2014. Upon moving into the home, there was an unpleasant smell from the wintering that was not resolved prior to move in and an unruly backyard. We were so pleased to find a home that we were more than willing to combat these issues on our own.

Within the first few months, sewage became an issue. The owners had placed "low flow" toilets that were not sanitary. After several failed phone requests, we had to visit in person to get an answer. We were denied stating "oh we've dealt with this from the owners in the past and they won't fix it." How this company considers this an adequate solution is beyond me.

Then our 1 year contract was completed and we went month to month. Our automatic payment plan was terminated. Therefore, the last months rent was late. There were no attempts to contact us for payment except a call at 9:30AM on a workday stating they were filing eviction papers. As a provider at the VA, we do not receive cell service so at lunch I returned the call immediately and was told it was already filed and nothing could be done. As a tenant for 13 months with no late payments, I would expect a professional courtesy to have until the end of the day to resolve that issue. But yet again, First Class proves they are unable to accomodate professionalism.

Then the last and final blow, we completed the walk-thru for move out with Kevin and spent 2 more hours completing additional tasks to ensure we received our full deposit reimbursement. We were given his word that we would get full reimbursement. Then 6 weeks later with no communication I contact him. He mentions there are disputes with the owners but assures us we will get the full reimbursement. Then the shocker, we get only 15% of our deposit. Upon speaking with him to dispute this, he is dismissive and uncooperative.

My advice to anyone thinking to rent or use this company: DONT!

dont rent from them!!!

Rented a house in May 2014,when I first looked at house ibdid. Notice a few prepairs that needed to be done. As I filled. Out the application mrs. Pam who was the front clerk at the time reassured me that these things were are ready noted and where to be fixed in the next week. 7months in and nothing has been fixed. Window still broken which is aganist the laws, house was broken into before we moved in and still they did not even fix the doors. I do not feel safe in my home at all. This is just crazy people trust this compnay and all they do is lie. Mr. Tony and mrs. Paula only want the money. They should feel ashamhed the way they treat people. Filing a complain the bbb and the news. Something needs to be done about the bs company. Wish I could give mo stars they are horrible

We have used First Class to manage our property in Raeford NC and have had no issues with them in 3 years. Whenever there is an issue with a tenant, an employee or Paula, the owner, gives us a call and lets us know what is going on. Always professional and very courteous.


Aweful service, never again! We gave the owner our complete trust, Paula, and never heard from her again and have gone thru SEVERAL of her different employees just to TRY and get crap done. My husband and I are the property owners of a property they manage for us and it's like everytime we turn around we are getting ridiculously billed for something in our home when we actually completely remodeled that home before we moved out. Most of everything is gutted and brand new. Just don't understand why everytime we turn around we need to fix something and pay for this and that. We went with this company and I convinced my husband to go with this property management because at the time they just made it seem all worth while and trustworthy but as soon as you give them the keys to your home, WATCH OUT, you will never know who exactly is running your property or taking care of it. Their employee turn over is ridiculous. Not to mention, for us being the home owners, its a constant battle to get them to make sure that the tenant understands the contract and that when their contract is up, that either resigning or moving out of the property or if they decide to do month to month to inform the tenant that that's when the rent will go up and that those are their options. They let a tenant in our hone rent month to month and constantly trying to get them to get her to resign her lease was an issue they had, concerned that we don't want to run off the tenant. And if the tenant complained they would never verify the complaint and send someone out their at our expense. We understand that being a property owner is our responsibility when something goes wrong with our property but they lack communication with the owners and tenant. All they care about is getting their half of the money and not really making our property and those tenants we rent to just as important as if it was their own home. Well, for anyone who is reading this, whether you're looking to rent a home or if you're a property owner wanting to lease your home out, we advise that you learn from our mistake in NOT giving full or any trust to these people, and don't listen to their sob story of how great they are, THEY ARE NOT! And at the end of the day, they don't care for either parties. They are very unprofessional and quite honestly a joke to worth with. Oh and another thing, the funny surprise was how they were on their p's & q's when my husband decides to show up to inspect all the so called fixes on our property and it took them a minute to call back to find a time and day to let him in the house for a walk thru inspection but they were lucky they managed to pull it off and make it a smooth visit. After this experience with First Class Property we will be switching property management companies to manage our property from now on. Thank You for reading and I hope this has helped those who are searching for a property management for their own property or even looking to rent. We value those tenants who rent our home and treat it as if it was their own but we also value the people who we choose to overseer our property as well and on a business level stay as professional as possible for all parties. Overall horrible experience, very misleading and not trustworthy.

The wording in our lease was written backwards, intentionally ambiguous and subject to interpretation. When we attempted to contest a bill that we verbally agreed we did not have to pay, they threatened to charge us even more money. I should have gotten a lawyer.

They rarely responded to our maintenance requests - which were many.

I would write detailed emails with three or four questions for our manager and receive a two-word response that addressed none of my concerns.

I would never recommend them and don't even get how they continue to do business with others. I feel bad for those people because they don't know what they're getting themselves in to.


I have to say that as a property owner we were very weary to hand over what we had worked so hard for to anyone...but our First Class Rep Vickie has been amazing. She has been super friendly, patient and has kept in touch with me about the things needed to be done in order to rent our home. They took over our property 2 1/2 weeks ago and I get a call today that it's rented. Thank you guys so much, particularly Vickie for a job very well done!




Now being a year past when I left FC, I will let you know that Zaida no longer works there. She eventually got tired of them as well. Paula, the owner of the company is the worst of them all, truly. Luckily, the owner of the properties that I lived in, finally seen the light and pulled her properties from her. I see that FC is popping up all over the place, so they are growing despite their nasty rep, but I will continue to never recommend them to anyone, share my experiences with anyone inquiring about renting from them, and hope that they stop gaining new properties.




Read many reviews of this company after renting threw them, and I'll be damn if everyone does not have it right on point. There timely ness on repairs is slow,and the work shotty and cheap. I can not for the life of me how Ft Bragg has not blacklisted this company from ever dealing with our men & women in uniform. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE FOLKS, it's a headache waiting to happen..



Horrible Company.

We rented from first class because we really liked the house and the neighborhood, and hoped all the negative reviews were wrong...they weren't. This company is absolutely horrible. As others have said, they do not care in the slightest about their tenants, only their tenants money. We had multiple maintenance issues with the house over time that we lived there and every single time they tried to blame it on us so we would have to pay. We even had a contactor who first class sent to our home get so angry when we told him first class was blaming us for the problem, he brought the broken item back to their office with him and explained how there was no way it was anyone's fault but th original builder. This was a contractor first class hired, completely disgusted with them....says a lot. Their responsiveness for

maintenance issues is 3-4 months, even with

constant phone calls and office visits. They stated on several occasions that we never submitted work orders for several broken items and as such tried to charge us for them. After having to personally go to the office and argue with them and finally force them to pull our rental file, there were all of our work orders right on top, they had never even looked, again just trying to steal tenants money.

I cannot recommend strongly enough against this company. As I said we read the horrible reviews and the "F" BBB rating, but we hoped it would be worth it for the house and the neighborhood, it wasn't. The failing better business bureau rating and the horrible reviews are that way for a reason, this is a truely dishonest and horrible company. Stay away!



RUN don't walk away from this ...

RUN don't walk away from this company. If your looking to rent any type of property I wouldn't use this company if they were the last company left on the planet. They claim they do repairs and charge an OUTRAGEOUS amount,but won't produce any receipts to back up their claim. They are counting on the fact that you WON'T take them to court, because otherwise they would have to show proof. And as THEY KNOW most people don't have the time or the money to sue them. Every law in North Carolina PROTECTS the company but not the tenant...and this company takes full advantage of that fact and use it to their advantage. Go elsewhere or get skrewed later. Also, report them to the Better Business Bureau because maybe if they get enough complaints about this lame company BBB will not recommend them to future consumers. I already reported them. And a big "HA" to the business associate that responded to a comment down there. I find it IRONIC that she says they have receipts for the stuff they do...what she FAILS TO MENTION is that they are NOT obligated to show you said they can basically skrew you out of your deposit and not have to show you why. At least someone from their lame company tried to respond,but again...its to their advantage...not the tenant.




Where do i start? As all the previous reviews state, multiply that by 10. I have fought for years with this company. They even had my tenants out of contract and realized it after i asked them when their contract runs out. Upon further review, her husband owns the maintenance company so any work done, they charge double and goes right to Paula's pocket. Then more shadyness, her MOM owns the floor cleaning so then dou le that price and it goes to her mom. We are now taking them to small claims because Paula decided to take it upon herself and keep all the money that would have been prorated of their earnings, but the kicker, its not even in the contract. Paula is roothless, shady, lazy, scam, dirty. STAY AWAY, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!!




THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS! We have had nothing but a year's worth of problems from this company. When we first signed our lease, they gave us an incorrect mailing address and then held US responsible. Upon move in the house was FILTHY!! As in disgusting. They did not fix anything they said they would before we moved in, and then it took longer than 30 days to fix things AFTER we'd already moved in. They will fix things half way, the avoid repairs unless you bug and bug and bug, and they will do everything in their power to keep your money. I am not planning on getting our security deposit back. NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE

We as a company and staff work very hard to keep out tenants, owners and prespective tenants very happy. Our company address is printed on the top of several documents the tenant signs including pens, key chains and carry bags. All properties are cleaned by a professional cleaning company everytime a tenant moves out, accompanied by a receipt. Work orders are called in and dispatched in a very timely manner as along as the tenants occupying the property make themselves available. Security deposits are returned within 30 days to the fowarding address provided by the tenant(s).

AVOID THEM! I tried for months...

AVOID THEM! I tried for months to get some simple repairs ect done and they just push you off and its impossible to get a hold of someone, I even went in the office three times and they somehow always avoid helping. They have no problem ignoring and blowing you off. WORST place I have ever rented from, They will never help you.



Awful Company

This company lies, cheats, and steals from tenants. If something breaks in your home they will try to do everything to get out of fixing it. When you move out don't expect your deposit back no matter how clean you leave the home. You are better off not doing a thing and giving them the whole deposit. Will never ever again do business with this business.
