Very helpful and courteous. They were very honest about the problem that I was having with my fireplace and gave me good advice.

I would like to give a big “Cheer” to the Father and Son team of Cape Fear Chimney Sweep who came out to my house and fixed the damper problem and performed a complete maintenance job on my fireplace insert. If anyone has a need to have work done on a fireplace insert or oil furnace, then this is the two person team who will get the job done and do it right the first time. They are the very “Best” in the Cumberland County area.

I would never ever recommend anyone to use this company. I made an appointment a month ahead of time. Less than 24 hours before they wanted to clean my fireplace they called me telling me what time I had to be home, which was a time I would not be home and when I made my appointment I told them it had to be after a certain time. The woman that had called me then said they would just cancel my appointment. I was no satisfied with this because I had made this appointment so far in advance, yet she offered no alternate plan. When I stated I did not want to cancel my appointment, that a resolution needed to be made she hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak to a manager, which apparently she is. She tried talking over me multiple times, even though I did not raise my voice I was just wanting to know what the next step was and she hung up on me again. Absolutely horrible customer service and complete disrespect, from a manager no less.
