This is not a property management company... it is a joke and a scam. They don't actually "manage" your property. They take your money for finding a tenant, and take their percentage of your monthly rent, but never actually do any work. Move in inspections? Renter does it alone and turns it in... no joint move-in inspection with a representative from the business. Need some maintenance done? They refer the renter to the home owner to handle it. Again, no involvement from the business. Someone want to see your house? They give the prospective tenant the keys to go see it for themselves. If the house is occupied, they ask the current tenant to show the property. No representative from the business yet again. Call them? No reply. E-mail them? No reply. Text them? No reply. The only time they do get involved seems to be during the process of moving out. They wait until the tenant leaves, and then cut their security deposits with outlandishly large charges for normal wear and tear damages, or items noted on the move-in inspection that have not been fixed during your rental period. It is a total scam. Also, there is not an ounce of professionalism in any person that works in that office. STEER CLEAR OF THIS BUSINESS!!
Watch out! This company will charge you upon move out with things that they cannot prove. We left them with a professionally cleaned house and yard and they charged us fees on top of that, which they couldn't back up. In any conversations the owner is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I would definitely not recommend this company.

I was new to the area and didn't know where to stay. I knew I wanted to purchase a home but was not familiar with the area. Mrs Davis was very nice, attentive and knowledgable . In addition, she was very helpful with the process of purchasing my first home; she saved me a lot of money and time!
Stephanie is awesome, she is very patient and resourceful with her knowledge. I would choose her for property management and to sell my next home. Glad to have met her.
Let's start with how they don't fix anything. Then they will try to illegally steal your deposit. I could go one forever about how horrible this company is! They try to say it was bought out but the same owners have owned it for 17 years. Do not rent from them!
RENT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! This business might be nice for the homeowner but they exist to take advantage of soldiers and retirees in the community. My wife and I rented a house from them in the Tradewinds neighborhood. An older house in need of many repairs, but we were renting so that was ok. We thought we had done a good job of photographing and documenting everything during the move in. We were wrong. This company scrubs the list and tries to find any damage they can charge you with on move out, pre existing or not. During our stay we were good stewards and reported any problems immediately. On one occasion we reported a broken ceiling fan, they send a repairman who tried to cut the shaft and bolt it directly to the ceiling. This didn't work and they replaced it. They sent a bill to us for the repair and the fan claiming we had cut the shaft. Luckily we had photos but they still drug out the process for over a month. Over the summer the 20 year old A/C system began to fail. We called in work orders when the temperature reached the 90's inside the house. The "nice" people at Residential group informed us that "we must not be southern, if you set the thermostat to 75 in the south it is normal for it to be in the 80's" What?!!! I lived in hotter places and if the AC is working correctly you set it at a reasonable temperature and the thermostat maintains the temperature. Upon final move out, they verbally claimed everything was fine. We had the carpets professionally cleaned etc. They claimed that we dented the refrigerator and that we damaged the walls in the garage that were seriously ate up with old screw holes prior to us ever living there. They sent only 312 dollars of the 1000 dollar deposit. It is a money making scheme and I believe they are in league with their "fix it" guys in order to make money off of soldiers who don't have time to fight them when they PCS from Fort Bragg. My advice to all, don't rent from them. If you are forced to rent from them, make sure you document and photograph everything, but even that is not enough with these shady, dishonest business people. I could write several pages because i only included a couple of grievances, but instead I will be taking this information to JAG and making it available on other sites to stop their dishonesty and unethical business practices.
Everybody in the office is bitchy and non informed if been a tenant at a retal property for well over a year in a half now and never paid my rent late not once or had any serious complaints other than maintained issues at my condo.. Something's they are attentive to a lot they are not. However I have dealt with many rental company's and apartment community administration Remax is the absolute worst.seriously save the headache there are better and easier ways to find a home. I wanted to turn in a 30 day notice however it has to be done on the 1st of each month ironically the 1st Fall on a Saturday so I imagined first thing Monday would be just as appropriate ... I worked everyday before the first couldn't get there earlier. I was told I should have put in the drop box and I'll have to wait for the next 1st of the month and responsible for the next 60 days which would include December ... Wow how much a world of difference you guys were closed Saturday and Sunday it wouldn't have made any difference if I put it in the drop box!!!! You wouldn't have seen it until Monday !
