I looked all over town for a shop who would do an alignment on my '56 Chevy and most either looked at me lost or turned me away but a few local hot rod guys told me about Prestige and said M L (owner) was the man to speak to. I called him and told him what I needed and what was done to the car. He knew exactly what he was talking about and scheduled me for 0800 the next morning. He's not the chattiest guy on the planet but you can tell he's been around the block a few times and knows what he's doing. The shop is a small mom and pops looking business but they have the proper equipment and tools and it's very clean and organized. The technicians were focused and getting customers taken care of quickly. I felt comfortable leaving my classic hot rod there and told him I'd be back before they closed. Around 5pm, I came back and picked up my car and it was perfect! I had a completely new aftermarket suspension and steering from classic performance products (CPP) and he had that thing lined up perfectly and only charged me $65. Most places wanted that or more for an easy newer car, much less a heavily modified 61 year old classic that takes much more time and effort. I drove it home and she's straight as an arrow now. I'm very thankful to have crossed paths with Prestige and I will be returning if I ever need automotive assistance again!
I have been going to them for six years. I have gone there for all of my maintenance needs. Including oil changes, brakes, inspections, flushes and even tires. They are always fast and affordable. My car is nine years old now and last year my engine started making this terrible noise when I would start my car. I feared the worst! These guys took great care of me then too. I was in and out and haven't had a problem since. I feel so lucky to have found this place. They make it easy to take care of my car and it's so nice to know that I have someone that I trust when something goes wrong. Nothing but great things to say about this shop!!
This Gerber is ran by complete idiots.The writer there,Tabatha,had a real attitude problem and acts like you and your vehicle are a hassle for her to deal with.The Manager,Nate Burg acts like he doesn't have a clue what's going on.I wouldn't trust my car in their hands at all.Very overpriced shop for average repairs.
Took my car into shop because it was making noise and Tony figured out what is was right away and fixed it at a very reasonable price. Will definitely be going again ,with all my car needs.
Tom is a fantastic mechanic. He is the only person I go to. I always go to him for my oil changes and I'm in and out in a flash and the pricing is fantastic. I also love that I'm supporting a small business. I've gone to him to get my radiator fixed and he did it for much cheaper than anyone else around. I absolutely love this business. Before I started going here I dealt with a lot of mechanics trying to rip me off because I'm a female. Not Tom. Very kind and upstanding mechanic.
On 2/17/17 my husband and I took our vehicle to this establishment to have the timing belt replaced. We were advised of the cost and estimated time frame. A deposit was paid and we expected the job to be done in 1-2 weeks, as we were in no rush. As of today (5/30/17) the car is sitting at this establishment in disarray. Our phone calls go unanswered (unless we call from unknown numbers). The mechanic, who is also the owner's son, has offered us nothing but broken promises and tons of attitude.
I took my car here to have an alignment. I left the parking lot and turned around before I got to the traffic light. The car was pulling severely to the right and I hadn't even left the median to get into flowing traffic. I spoke with the manager and immediately he was frustrated. I should have been the one frustrated! I just figured they needed to tweak the job. He stormed out and took the car for a test drive down the street and came screeching back into the parking lot and blowing the horn. He signaled for me to come outside and told me to get in lets go for a test drive. We did and the car continued to go to the right every time he took his hands off of the wheel. One of his explanations for this was I wasn't giving it enough time to work. The other reason was how the streets are constructed in the right lane. Okay, but why was the car going right no matter which lane it was in? He got angry and said, "just lemme give you your money back because I don't need no problems." It is my opinion that the root of his problems lie with one of his employees. When he is working on your car he will call you into the service area to tell you that you need other work done and he could do it for you much cheaper right there on the premises. He also complained to me that they, the mechanics, only get paid minimum wage and he needs all of the money that he can get. So whether or not the manager needs a problem, he certainly has one.
Do not go here to get your tires replaced because they're liars. I got a flat tire on Sunday afternoon (5/7/17). Called Mr. Tire on Sunday and they said they could have my tire in on Monday at 10 am. I called Mr. Tire Monday morning at 10 AM and they said the tire hadn't come in but that it would be in at 10 AM on Tuesday the latest. I called Mr. Tire on Tuesday morning and a Mr. Tire rep said the delivery guy forgot to put the tire on the delivery truck. Mr. Tire rep assured us the tire would be in Wednesday morning no later than 10 AM. I called Mr. Tire today (5/10) and spoke with a representative by the name of Patrick who told me the delivery truck was en route today and the tire would be here and he would call me when the tire came in. Long story short- he never called me with an update. I called back twice (spoke with Tom and another female) and was subsequently put on hold for a total of 20 minutes. When I called him back the third time and spoke with a Patrick, the tire still had not arrived and he said he was very sorry. The reason I'm writing this review is because Patrick, Tom, and whomever else could have just told me they couldn't get the tire in instead of stinging me along for 3 days. There were other tire places in Fayetteville who mentioned they could get the tire the next day but I wanted to do good business with Mr. Tire because they informed me they had ordered the tire and it was en route. Don't go here. I recommend taking your business to Firestone.
