The reviews that I am reading are not true. I went to the property and didnt get the experience that is being explained. The Ladies in the office went out of their way to help me and it was genuine they were not fake. I can tell fake people. They were calling maintenance on the spot when someone was callin in issues as I was hearing a call coming in. Those ladies were on the go non stop. They were for their tenants. Their maintenance staff too was on the go as well, so I would definitely recommend this property!!

Brittany place is one of the worst property's in Fayetteville. the receptionist / leasing agent does not have a clue. It appears the only thing the manager does is take the rent to the bank. work orders are slow to get done, if they are done. No pool, the laundry building opened up and half the machines don't work, additional it is unkempt and dirty, Also in the basement of a building that seems to be abandoned. the fitness center just opened. it is a sad and scary. next to empty pool, abandoned building and sparingly used laundry room. The grounds in general is poorly maintained, cigarette butts everywhere and management threatens to fine the whole building $50, even if you do not smoke, and rather do the right thing and pay maintenance and grounds keepers, they would rather charge you more money to live in a hell hole. there are more and more dogs on the property and dog feces that management does nothing about. I say run, run far and fast from this hell hole.
There have been 4 car break ins and 2 car vandilations at this complex JUST in the last month. Horrible and unsafe neighborhood!!!Maintenance either takes an extremely long time to fix problems with the apartments or just disregards the problem all together and don't fix it. My AC and HEAT stopped working about six months ago, I put in several maintenance requests and call several times a month about the problem, but it's been MONTHS and they still have not fixed it!!!The staff at the front office are extremely rude, inconsiderate and unhelpful.
If i could rate this apartment complex lower, i would. Let me start out with the location; The location isn't bad since its close to Bragg. Thats the ONLY benefit. The cons; Upon moving in to the over priced apartment complex, there was an issue with cockroaches. After several bug "treatments" they insisted that the problem will go away after the next treatment. False! The bug issue was never fixed. Not once did they offer to do anything more to help mediate the situation. When discussing this issue with KIM she blamed it on a "cluttered apartment" even though she never took one step inside my apartment. Thats insulting in itself. So once again, KIM did nothing to fix the issue except insult me. Next; the dumpsters are disgusting and always filled with trash from the outside. Thats a sanitation issue. Then to top it off, they place the dumpster right next to the "dog park". The "dog park" shouldn't even be called a dog park. Its only labeled as a dog park just so the apartment complex is more appealing in the description. Not to mention the dog park has no one to upkeep it. There have been numerous times where trash from the dumpster has over flowed into the dog park. Its pathetic of them to even market it. Lets move on to the next subject, their gym. The gym is the size of a janitor closet. It is rarely cleaned out and has barely any gym equipment. Next subject; the tanning booth. Avoid it. Its never cleaned out and is a great breeding ground for who knows what. Last but certainly not least, the staff; There is ONE staff member who certainly knows what he is doing. His name is Matt. The few issues that had been brought up to him were taken care of swiftly Which is greatly appreciated. He should be the manager because he has professionalism as well as takes great pride in the work he does. Now lets move on to KIM;If there was a contest for who the most unprofessional staff member is, she would be the undisputed champion. The pathetic part is that she is the manager. Once again, she is the manager and displays absolutely no professionalism. Instead of doing anything she can to help a situation, she would rather argue then come up with a solution. Not to mention rather than taking responsibility for a mess up, she kept pointing the finger elsewhere in desperation. If she was a Sesame street character, she would be Oscar the Grouch. She even threatened eviction because we didn't agree with her OPINION. It also seems as if I'm not the only unhappy tenant. Until this excuse of a manager learns people skills, gets fired, or goes anywhere else but Independence apartments, there is no way i would EVER come back here again. Nor would i EVER recommend anyone who i value as a friend to move there. Please take this warning and run far away from this apartment complex and don't look back.
When we moved in to these apartments the property was managed by a different staff. The new management has lowered the standard of living substantially. Everything from no parking to constant inspections makes living in these apartments a hassle. The management assigns you one parking spot, so if you are anyone other than a loner with one car you have to park your other family members car in a visitors spot. During the evenings and the weekends all of the visitor spots become occupied and people even resort to parking on the grass, which turns the property muddy and unsightly. You may even have to resort to parking out near Ramsey St. or across the property from where you reside!! Also the management insists on inspecting your apartment which has lately been nearly on a monthly basis! The property manager insists that she must be along with the maintenance personnel to inspect the apartment which turns your apartment into a zoo with every staff member invading your personal space. This apartment complex has potential, but that potential cannot be reached by current management. The management is untrustworthy and will lie to you to benefit themselves. For instance when a person moves out of a residence, and a parking spot becomes available, they will lie to the residents about the status of that parking spot telling them that it is occupied so they cannot park in it. The management is also rude and accusatory to the residents. When inquiring about the frequent inspections they asked what we would have to hide. Well as an American citizen I value privacy and do not want to have staff parading through my dwelling as frequently as they wish. Out of the eight years I have lived here and 4 different apartment complexes this is the worst management I have experienced.
I am a middle-aged professional who lives in a two bedroom at Woodstream and absolutely love this community in a way that I never have loved any other place I’ve rented from before. I move often for work (military) and for two decades I have rented from many communities all over the country. None have come anything close to the experience I’ve had with Woodstream. To start, although the property is not brand new, it is so well maintained you’d never realize it wasn’t built within the last few years. I love the townhome-style layout with the loft bedroom and my place is cozy and very well lit by the sun. I pay a great price for a lot of space (including interior and exterior storage). My utility bill is extraordinarily small as well for pretty much the entire year round.Regarding the service team, I have made a couple of calls to have a very minor plumbing and a closet door repair made since I moved in and within minutes of calling, I received email notification that the work was complete. The service team is on it; they are adept and I have never waited long to have anything completed and there has never been a need to call again for the same issue. The office team is extraordinarily polite, professional and they tackle every request or need with a genuine sense of urgency. I sincerely look forward to the opportunities to go in and interact with the staff. The culture they’ve created is much more than the typical community/resident relationship. To put it simply: I feel taken care of in a way I have never before experienced. I suspect that the culture they maintain is also evident in the satisfaction and amicability of my neighbors. I have never had a problem with any of the other denizens of Woodstream and I attribute this to the example of courtesy set by the property staff.I have one simple anecdote that I feel profoundly captures my experience. Today, I expressed dissatisfaction with my stove (it works, but not optimally and is the only thing on my wish list), and the manager and team instantly jumped into action to address the deficiency. Where other communities have dismissed seemingly trivial things in the past, my requests always becomes a priority. They cannot stand to hear that there is any way that I am not completely satisfied. This is a group of people who genuinely care for their residents. Due to the exemplary treatment I’ve received from the Woodstream staff, I didn’t even hesitate to sign another lease when presented the opportunity. I will not even consider another property because I am thoroughly happy with what I have here. I am extraordinarily comfortable and feel very safe in my community and have never heard otherwise uttered from others that live here. I offer my sincerest gratitude to the Woodstream staff for everything they’ve done for me.
I have lived in Fieldcrest Apts. for 3 years now. It is quite and I decorated my apt real nice, inside and out! Pay your rent and deposit on time and you will enjoy living there. We do need renters that will pay their rent on time. The owner is the sweetest person ever!
I wouldn't suggest this place to my worst enemy! Durning the hottest months of the year it took them two months to finally come fix my ac. After giving me a new ac unit I live for a month for work. I turn off my ac unit. I come back after a month and find that my ac is still running even tho I turned it off! Now I'm stuck with a $230 electric bill! The manager is RUDE!!!!!
Management is awful. Can't wait to move
