I will never set foot into this Harley location again. I dropped my bike off for some service, mainly new front and rear tire and brake flush. Should've been pretty easy work. I was out of town for the entire week so there was no rush whatsoever. When I picked up my bike and rode it home, just as I was approaching my driveway I heard a loud clunk. I looked down and my left exhaust pipe was almost dragging on the ground. I pulled into my garage and after inspecting, found that the bolts were never put back in on this side. I called the service department, they said "ride it back up here and we'll put them in". Yeah, no, drove back up there, got bolts and did it myself.2nd day of riding later, I notice a nut and some washers on my garage floor. I search all around then finally realize my front axle clamp was dangling. The nuts must never have been torqued properly as one was on the floor and one was almost off. I've had this bike 5 years and never had an issue, they replace my front tire and two days later crap is falling off.Really makes me nervous to not know what else they may have done that I haven't discovered yet. I would highly recommend getting service elsewhere.
I think this is a business like no other because the service is first class and it is a place where everyone is treated like family. The employees go out of there way to make every customer feel like they have a place to go and meet other motorcycle enthusiasts and share their love for riding motorcycles.
The employees were really awesome and they helped me out with everthing I needed. I would definitely recommend coming here!!!
Great experience. I got a beautiful bike and great service from Baker American Cycles. These guys are great.
Put injectors in bike. 2 weeks later broke down in heat 100 plus. Fuel tank dirty plus fuel filter clogged. Cost big bucks for what ? Got clean tank first and filter. Didn't need 480.00 in injectors and break down with no fix what kind of service thought process?
I took my car the for an inspection, he closed the door so I couldn't see what was going on. When he was finished he said I was leaking power staring fluid. I should have fought it more but I was getting rid of the car in a month, but when I looked at the spot where my car was seating before he messed with it nothing. Driving home which is a 15 in drive the power stearing went out on my way. If I had that bad of a leak I would not have made it there. They did something to my car that could have killed me. I would never go there again.
Very rude; unprofessional; inflated prices; no quality assurance. I bought a battery at the Fort Bragg Harley store for my Harley in early Dec 2014. The guy at the parts department sold me the battery without any prepackaging material (not sure if that is standard practice). After riding the bike for a few miles, the negative battery post melted and the positive battery post separated from the battery casing (no evidence of arcing- post separated from casing). I called the Parts Department and talked to Rob to see if they would look at it. He told me it was my fault, that I didn't tighten the cables correctly, and he wasn't going to eat the battery (without offering to look at the battery or asking anything about the circumstances). These guys recently changed their name from Cape Fear to Fort Bragg Harley to market the Airborne and Special Operations logo and draw in our Paratroopers. If you are a Serviceman or Woman, buy merchandise or have your Bike serviced at another location. Don't be duped by the logo or the management.... //// Bruce Parker, Retired Paratrooper
If you want true Harley service, DO NOT LOOK HERE. From the door, I observed the desk staff tell my wife to go ask her husband what kind of bike she rides as she was trying to arrange scheduled maintenance. Who does this? Then the shop schedules service and when confirming the date to bring the bike in, they change their minds and no longer will perform the service they scheduled and guaranteed. They have called twice, first to intimidate her and second to apologize for the "miscommunication" but still refuse to stand by their service commitment. We have taken both our bikes here exclusively for parts and service and I bought my bike here. This is how they treat loyal customers. Go to big boy Harley dealer or anywhere else. Do not waster your time with this dealer. Big Harley needs to evaluate this management's ability to run this shop.
Absolutely horrible service, not only were the staff unprofessional but rude. As a military member they treated me like crap and I would not recommend them for anything.
